i just figure that they would sculpt it to look like the classics 198x grayskull and all the orgers would cry cuz it doesn't look like 200x.

I don't know It would seem a lot of people on this board would cry about the same thing, or if they did base it on the Vintage one, then people would start crying for a 200X version

Surely the longer they wait to do a Grayskull the less likely it will be to sell out due to people dropping out of the line.

I thought about saying ____ it and sculpt one myself. Or maybe have a friend of mine sculpt it. Would you dudes be up for the front of the castle? I wonder in what manner would it be considered classic while updating it? And I was not a fan of the 200x castle at all.

The custom looks really cool, but I don't think I'll be buying it. If Mattel does one day decide to make a Castle Grayskull, I'll be happy and will buy it. However, if they never make one, I'm okay with what we're getting now.

it just seems like that if there is nothing else to complain about people will start this Greyskull thing up again. If we were waiting with baited breath on one that had been promised and they had not produced it yet then yes I could see it, but it's not even on the back burner yet. so let's just move on, its fun to debate how it would look, and how awesome it would be (and it would) but lets not start planning to burn any effigies of toyguru yet.

no custom grayskull for me. the line would have to be completely over with no hope in sight before i resorted to that.

and we more or less talk about grayskull cuz we're bored, not becuase we don't have anything to complain about.

Takes me back to my birthday in 1983 when my father brought my one on his way home from work. I thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
I would definitely put out the dough for one of these. This looks like one of those great battle scenes they would have on the boxes of the toys back in the day.
