i just ordered this! US$165 shipped to my country.

saw the pics and youtube review (thanks for posting btw) and was sold on the quality of this piece. it looks pretty well made, and at that price i couldn't resist. heh heh.

hopefully it'll arrive in a few days' time. will post my pics and thoughts on it when i get it.

You can try to remove the handle cap bu taking those 2 screws out, and fill it with sand.

Thank you for suggestion. But not sure how heavy it the handle can support. I worry it will get broken.

I think it might have something to do with licensing. He had other marvel stuff from the site that was taken off. I emailed them. Maybe they will be able to sell me "off records"

By the way, I was able to get a bit cheaper when ordering via email/facebook. I live in USA and he charged me U$120,00 for the hammer (that was the price when it was first listed. Lately it had increased to 129) and 53 bucks for shipping for a total of U$ 173,00. He will be shipping it tomorrow.

i received mine a few days ago. shipping was pretty fast but then again hong kong isn't too far from where i live. it arrived in perfect condition, with three layers of wrapping (parcel paper, bubble wrap and a brown shipper box) over the box packaging that holds the hammer.

i gotta say i'm pretty happy with this piece. the burnished metallic finish is very convincingly done and only upon close scrutiny you might realise it's not actually made of metal. i especially love the very crisp, strong detailing of the patterns and runes. the handle has a nice tack to it, and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. the raised ridges help the feel of it. and the hilt also has some solid detailing that sells the illusion that it's a museum-level replica. the strap is a very nice faux leather that feels sturdy and expensive. the only downside is that it's pretty lightweight, but that's nowhere close to being a dealbreaker. oh, i also dislike the two screws on the base of the hilt. i know they wanted to follow efx's approach which is accurate to the actual prop but i don't care for such things. makes the piece look cheaper with it than without. bad decision there. other than these two minor issues, this is worth every cent and has now become the new display centrepiece in my living room.

Mine came in yesterday. Very happy with it. I paid extra for the faster shipping... the tracking number never worked on the Chinese site, but it worked fine with USPS once the package got to the US.

It's a little lighter than I expected based on some of the reviews here, but it looks fantastic.

Great review man! The hammer is great but what caught my eye was that Iron Man helmet. Who made it/where did you get it?
