This is the unavoidable fate that all kind of pleather (PU coated) clothing will decompose serveral years after.

Eight years ago... this was my first time to make a 1:6 clothing for a figure.... I was so happy and really enjoy the time during the making of this outfit.

Now... I decide to make this outfit again by using genuine leather. It makes me feel I'm back to 8 years ago..XDD

Outstanding work Kato, you make this look easy. :lol I admire your talents , I wish that I were as talented and could find some leather thin enough to work with. Can't wait to see the completed figure.

Wow! Keep the pics coming. I'm learning some useful leather techniques here ;) Fantastic work!

This is the Kamen Rider outfit I made 7 years ago, the fitting look unacceptable to me now.. of course the pleather is started to disintergate as well.

Excellent! Dam! All that work on the pleather version for it to rot away. Does all pleather rot after say seven years? or is it a certain type of pleather or environment it is kept in?

Nearly all kind of "PU" pleather is not durable especially in humid area ( like my city HK ), but unfortunately nealy all figure outfit are made of pleather rather than genuine leather.
