Very sad to say that Jean Stapleton has died at the age of 90. I always loved "All in the Family" and always loved the character of Edith Bunker.

It's good to know that, that character and her great performances will live on forever on video tape.

The closing theme of the show is, today very poignant.

"Remembering You" as sung by her co-star Carroll O'Conner.

That scene is impressive. For anything. We had a bunch of tapes from the show, and I remember watching this one, just shocked that A: they were doing this, and B: that it was DAMN suspenseful.

Great show.

Calm down. This thread was buried on page 2.

All in the Family was a great show. She and Carroll O'Connor were hilarious, and both were fantastic actors. Hope she had a great life.

RIP Dingbat. :duff

Damn it. Bettie Page died in 2008.

Who the hell am I thinking of that died around the same time as Ray Manzarek? Maybe it was her, but someone was just randomly eulogizing her on facebook or something. These goddamned internets...

Yep, totally missed this, too. One of my mom's favourite shows and remember watching it pretty regularly as a kid. RIP.
