I have to admit,i was worried for a while when i saw the terrible score ign gave it,but hearing it from you guys helps alot.Ive always loved the Bond games, easy and reptetitive but as long as it keeps the charm like the previous games that is more than good enough for me.

Im gonna buy it next week!

Well, IGN said it felt nothing like bond, the music was nothing like bond and the locations weren't any good. They couldn't be any more wrong tbh. The casino level i've just played was one of the best looking levels i've seen in a game! Not to mention the music is pretty much Casino Royale / Quantom music to a Tee.

Going off your post it sounds like you'll like the game mate!

This game is being panned across the board. 63% average at Metacritic. Sounds like more than one jaded reviewer to me.

It's cool if you like it, but this game is going to be bargain bin in no time. Just wait and save your money.

I managed to get a copy on rental & it's not to bad. Sure the graphics aren't the best (they're not the worst though) & the controls/gameplay mechanics are a bit clunky, but on the whole it's pretty entertaining.

The story is on par with either Casino Royale & Quantum, the music is also in a similar vein to Daniel Craigs two big screen Bond outings - the reviewer for IGN can't have seen either of them !.

I'd probably give it a 7.5 - it isn't worth a full price purchase but you won't feel ripped off if you can rent it, as for lifespan..... I haven't tried Multiplayer yet & I'm about 5-6 hrs into single player on the hardest diffulcty setting you can get from the start (ithink the ball breaker setting has to be unlocked) but kinda feel like i'm near the end.

I'm playing this now. And I'm loving every minute of it. It is a very good third person shooter game. Car chases are pretty cool too. Love the Takedowns in this. It's a bit like splinter cell conviction which I beat but I favor this a bit more. It's game for Bond fans and for people who like third person shooters in which I love. It's not the best game in the world and it's far from the worst. Don't be put off by lame azz scores. Pick it up if you are a bond fan like myself.

Nothing will beat Nightfire imho, that was fantastic for a game only release. From Russia With Love was a cool nod as well but alot of the newer Bond games have been below the belt I've found

Nightfire was incredibly silly. Best Bond sans GoldenEye is easily Everything or Nothing.

Sure it was the old style over the top plot, but it felt like Bond, and had Williem Dafoe as the villian. So that's a win.

Everything or nothing was amazing, I still play that game. This is easily my favourite bond game though. I really like how polished it is.

For PS2:
-Everything or Nothing
-Nightfire
-Agent under Fire
-From Russia with Love

am i missing any?

I don't have them anymore but thinking about buying them back, these games are so fun.

Everything or Nothing really is the best Bond game. It's really too bad they followed it up with that horrible From Russia With Love. I loved the driving levels on Agent Under Fire. Best driving levels I ever played.

Why do people think From Russia With Love was horrible? I remember really liking it. Must be missing something

I thought it was pretty good too but it was quite slow and jerky storylinewise at times, even being based on the damned movie. HAHA how did they let that happen!
I love nightfire though, multiplayer with friends was EPIC and the story and graphics were great, imho.
Last space level was pretty silly though, I admit. As soo as 007 leaves Earth's atmosphere, in any case, that's when I walk away LOL

It's been so long since I played FRWL, I'm not sure if I can remember everything I disliked about it. I know I hated the shooting controls. I thought EoN had those damn near perfect and FRWL is probably the worst of all the games imo. I also felt the driving level wasn't as good as the ones in EoN. If FRWL had come out before EoN I probably would have loved it.
