Is anyone else paranoid about Star Wars rubber?

I was soo disappointed to learn that the new TFA stormtroopers have rubber underbodies. Am I just being paranoid or is this a deal breaker for you?

I had to send my ed209 back to Sideshow after only 2 months because if all the splitting rubber everwhere, and I kept it in immaculate, stable conditions. So...NOT exaggerated.

It is a problem, I wont buy anymore pieces with rubber parts. Just had to get rid of my Sideshow Raynor for really cheap as the rubber cracked and dried, brutal.

After my Comedian's body suit melted through and was destroyed I made the decision to never buy a figure with any rubber parts ever again.

I can't afford to waste money like that.

but batman only came out recently, we should check back with him after hes had it a year or two

no major issues im aware of, yet ever pic I see of him is a museum pose, so theres likely not too much strain or bunching of the material

We had an original ed209 that never cracked at all, yet an Aliens alien by Ht fell apart
