Now on Sideshow for 650$. Make much more sense but still not cheap for a 1/6 scale.

No piece from Iron Studios will ever be called 'cheap'.

Not that I'm complaining I have over 20 of their pieces across their 1/4, 1/6 and 1/10 lines.

I love vs statues. I just preordered mine. It will look nice next to my superman vs doomsday. I can't wait for wolverine vs juggernaut next.

Pre-ordered today. I have the sups and dooms with my hulk v wolverine and they look great together. I hope this looks just as awesome when I add it to the display.

So I went looking around the internet and found this piece is on sale on dc directs website for 975 big bad toy store for 650. I am wondering what the edition size is going to be? Ironstudios stuff is usually low, sups vs dooms was 500, magnito vs sentianal was 300. I hope this stays low as well.

Wow, the paint app looks nice!!! The grey looks darker on Batman too. Bane looks really nice. I think they are only making 400 of these, that's nice since they made 500 of the sups vs darkseid.

IMO, Doomsday vs Supes looks way better than this piece overall so I'm not surprised it sold more units.

Yeah, the sups vs doomsday is so iconic looking. The pose and animation is awesome. It's like someone took a picture right before they clashed.

I wish this piece had a black and gray batman. Other than that, I like the pose. I already have a blue Batman in the vs killer croc piece which is one of my favorites. Hopefully, someone can do a good custom paint job.

I agree, but it's more than that for me. IMO, the sculpt is far better as well. It's more polished and realistic looking. This one screams tooned up to me. Poses and positioning of the figures look awkward and the figures themselves look like they're from an unlicensed kit. Personally, I'm just really not feeling this piece.

I don't completely agree that the pose is awkward, at least not completely, but I do agree w the "tooned" look to it. Which is why I also think a black bats might look better. Though I've been thinking that about all IS pieces outside of Superman v Doomsday, recently. I think the same thing about Wolverine v Juggernaut, which I also PO'd, toonish. I haven't seen any of pieces first hand, but they seem like they just have a base color and lack of or weak shading which might contribute to that cartoon look, I dunno. Just me, maybe.

In person it looks really good. I am really happy with it, modern Batman outfit is very basic. Light gray with a bright blue. I love the way it fits with my collection.
