I Made a Darth Vader Medieval Crusader Knight

Hi Guys I just completed this project would appreciate your feedback

I used existing parts and re sculpted the Anakin Skywalker head (remodeled the mouth and jaw and upper head) and remodeled the Vader faceplate to fit over the head and to remove the eyes to create the knight visor look

all the clothes and straps were custom made to fit with the existing armour

to do the paint effects on the head I use powdered food colouring mixed with acrylic and sealed with satin varnish

may do a future tutorial if there's an interest

am also planning a steampunk version, that paper he's holding is a plan for his death star castle, took a few weeks from sourcing the pieces to customize as well as getting the painting right as i needed to do a complete head repaint. mastering the eyes was a learning curve

I got medieval knight versions of iron man and batman (Bale version) in the pipes too

this is the head I used as a base to remodel View attachment 163247



I re sculptured the mouth to remove the grin and give him an upper lip sword scar
also had to do some work on the upper head to make the helmet and faceplate fit
