just wondering for future reference. I accidentally broke some accessory stuff on my hot toys, including:

a tiny knob on abigail whistler's bow scope
a small peg on Jill Valentine's sniper rifle scope
the iron sight of war machine's FN2000

(All weapon sight related, wtf?)

how much does this affect the value of the figure?

Just ask yourself what you'd be prepared to pay for figures with those pieces broken or missing and you have your answer.

well I dunno, if I see someone selling a figure with a broken part I will probably ask for advice too before buying it lol

Fix it with glue or if you really want to have it mint see if you can buy said part loose on ebay.

Not if he can replace the part for less than 25% of the figures cost. :hi5:

This.

If that accessory is still widely available and cheap on ebay, it's not going to be a big deal.

If the only way to get another say Bow would be to get it from a full figure then its going to affect the value greatly.

I personally won't even buy a figure 2nd hand for these very reasons unless its from someone on here i've known a while and know it wont have any minor little breaks etc.
