Hey mythos Luke! Very nice.

Luke here is my first Hot Toys figure in over a year. I sure dig him. The poses in these shots are admittedly a bit bland and repetitive, but this was just an introductory warm-up shoot.

I have some fun locations in mind for future portraits, as well as some exciting ideas for accessories and companions.

Beautiful pics!
cant wait to see more.
And they aren’t bland. It’s great to see pics of a figure outside.
Post more!

Yes agree, outside pics are great.

Get him in the water ! Remember that dude who was getting shots of his Shoretrooper waist high in water. Maybe he'd reconsider that now considering the secondary market prices :lol

:exactly: This!

I'd never be brave enough to take my figures outside tho...I'd probably end up dropping and breaking them! :lol

Excellent pics Monte Williams! :clap :clap

I always have to hand it to people who take their figs into the wild to photograph - for the aforementioned risk of damage, but also for the even greater risk of being seen photographing dolls.:lol

Thanks, guys. Actually, I only photograph toys outdoors. Life is too short, and people are usually very curious and friendly when they see me on a shoot with toys.

That said, it'll probably be a month or more before I am able to capture the shots I have planned of Luke.

In the meantime, here are a few of my previous Hot Toys portraits:

I made a figure when i first started seeing my Wife. Just a custom "everyman" guy. Wearing jeans, a fleece, shades, and carrying a rucksack.
We take him everywhere we go and set him up like he's a normal dude. I also have a collapsible park bench for him, just to help with scaling.
It's funny when people see me lying on the ground getting a great angle on him so he appears real sized.

Cool shots username! The thought of lying on the wet ground in the middle of George Square:)

Hehe. I managed to find a statue pedestal at about the four feet high mark. It’s useful to get the figures head to the correct height a normal person would be if there are real people in shot.

:lol Very nice idea Username...those pics are great too. :)

Thanks. I also have a custom Destiny Warlock and took some pictures of him up at the Isle Of Skye last year.

Man, that bench really sells it!

Thanks. I’ve always been inspired by your outdoor pictures.

My wife surprised me with Luke for my birthday. I couldn't be happier. This is really a great looking figure.
