For me the RO Stormie helmets resemble too much the Master Replicas Collector's Edition / EFX Precision Cast helmet. ANH is not perfect, but IMO better than RO for OT Stormtroopers.

Some great shots and posing by ZE in the Rogue One Stormie threads got me to readjust my poses for my ANH figures.

I just got one of these new off of Ebay and I am a little pi$$ed because the silver rivets on the belt are all rusted and have tarnish on them. I got it from Hong Kong so it must have been hot and humid wherever it was stored. Not sure it is something I could even clean up without damaging the leather and white fabric.

Do you mean the button thats on the gun holster or just the belt itself?
Try a Q-tip with just a tiny amount of wheel polish. (mothers brand) Fashion the q-tip so that it is extremely streamlined..like remove some of the cotton if that makes sense and approach the cleaning directly - not to get it on the belt.

The actual rivets on the belt that hold the holster on. They are all rusted/oxidized. They are so embedded in the belt that I don't think I would be able to clean them without damaging the fabric and making it worse.

I just grabbed the MMS268 double pack (new) for about $375 at my local retail store. I say great price for these days :blissy

Great price! Yeah the 2pack, In my opinion, is the best 1/6 figure iteration of the OT Stormtroopers. Congrats!

By the way, this arrived the other day and I know that plenty of people think it's a stupid repaint but I really like it.

That fragile trooper has grown on me too. I hope HT continues this line with other cultural motifs.

Agreed! I actually am a big fan of variants/repaints and I currently own every Stormtrooper HT has produced so far, even the gold and copper chrome ones. Out of all of them, the original 2 pack tall version is my favorite but believe it or not the porcelain pattern (fragile) ST is a close second. The blue is a great contrast on the white armor, especially the blue visor eyes and I really dig the red Empire logo on his arm. They also put some of the blue patterning on the blasters.

Couple more pictures:

:clap Nice! Love me some white armour. :stormtroo

I have that latest group shot of yours imprinted in my mind. As much as I want to not have an abundance of these guys I think I'll end up with four after the Hantrooper arrives and only bring them all out for the occasional army invasion.

Fantastic poses with the "superior" Stormtroopers :lol :clap

Nice score. :clap

That perspective is understandable. On-screen the RO stormtroopers didn't bother me at all, but the figures never give off a man in suit vibe to me, not sure what the issue is.

Just for the record, Stormtroopers are my favorite part of Staw Wars. In fact, armored figures are the majority of my collection. I think for me it's the RO shin armor and shoes that throw it off. When I look @ pictures of the figures, my eyes are always drawn to that spot. Are they great figures, sure! But IMHO ANH wins every time. Also say what you want, but I much prefer the velcro belt and having a holster on my troopers.
