Han with new hair

He looks great m8 and with hair like that and it being under a stormie lid it could end up looking any old way so screen accuracy isn't a major decider

Or, if it's part of the sculpt, hand sand it gently...

Han Solo is usually clean-shaven I think...

It's a good effort and don't think I could do any better, but it does kind of look like he's wearing a bad wig. Ultimately I don't think the Indy sculpt really works as Han Solo.

Cheers man, it was a good learning curve and I wanted to have a bash at sculpting. But I have to agree... Han is having a bad hair day !! LOL

Dorgs, I think you did pretty well with this, my only complaint is that the hairline looks kinda off... you know, how the hair sits on his forehead?

If you have never sculpted before, that's pretty good for hair tho. I'm a (super super super triple ultra quadruple) amateur sculptor myself, and so far have sculpted 2 (worthless) heads: 1 zombie (based on no one in particular), and 1 constipated Austrian headsculpt (it was supposed to be Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator, didn't look great).... molded but never cast the latter, the silicone mold is now constantly oozing (even after about a month or so after it cured)...

The hair isn't like a wig... it's just right above his forehead it just seems to... I don't know, jut out too much? You should make it more blunt if you know what I mean... hard to explain...

Well, the hacksaw really was not man enough for the job so used the faithful chainsaw....much easier to control

Need to re-do the front but i think it looks way better.... cheers guys.

Yeah, that's what I meant about the hair. Just add the details to the mold growing on his head and, paint it brown, and let him shave... Then it will be a great Han sculpt!

And I shall tell you whether you want to know or not... I shave everywhere with a hacksaw! (oops almost typed 'Sackhaw'...)

Looks great Snow, but for the shirt you should try the tea bag dyeing method to make it look more yellowish. Disregard if I sound too nit-picky. But if you interested boil some water add a tea bag then the shirt. However use a trial piece that is the same color as the shirt. Add water to lighten the color or more tea bags to darker the color.
