Ah sorry, i ment 100+ as in 100 and above, but that's with my precision Air rifle a very fun toy. If its no wind i can group within 2 cm at 100 meters
I shoot further with my 30.06, but since only outdoor ranges are allowed in Sweden for anything above .22 i seldom use the rifle in the winter.

In Sweden bolt action 30.06 rifles is all you can get :/ If you are a hunter you can get semi automatic rifles, but with special mags that can only hold 3 cartridges.

Thats a nice rifle, looks very sweet with the PRS mounted

Here is my DPMS Panther AR-15 I've been customizing lately. Put a new rail,gas block and a pretty decent sight I got for 100 at a gun show.

It easily switches to CQB and has 4 different cross hairs in each mode. Also these pics were taken before I got a chance to go out and aligned the sight.

Also Here is an 870 I did a long time ago. I'm putting a sling on it with shell holders soon. I don't keep the switch in that position when i'm firing it obviously, it is just like that for the pic.

Nice looking collection. That is a cool looking DPMS. I was looking at a Panther Arms AR when I was buying my Armalite. I just got the better deal on the Armalite (800 bucks OTD in 2007). Hey thanks. That rail is an XTS. nothing too special but it does it's job. That sight is excellent till I can afford something better like this

nice DPMS! unfortunately (i believe) DPMS ARs are on the ban list for us in Kalifornia. the silly thing though is that we can get a Remington R25 which is basically a DPMS made rifle.

The LCR is awesome, it has a MUCH nicer trigger pull than a Smith or Taurus. I would get the 357 so you at least have the option, in addition to shooting 38 +p.

Btw, you must be stocking up on ammo before February!??

While I don't mind going to Walmart for plinkin' ammo in 9mm the cheap *Bleepards* no longer carry .45 long colt around here.

I've been thinking of getting an LCR as an alternative carry gun for lighter-clothing situations.

I'm generally an H&K guy -- carry an HK P30 9mm as my primary sidearm, and I'll be buying a USP Compact .45 next month sometime as a secondary. But, both of those are a bit difficult to conceal in the summer. I don't think know if H&K has a comparable model to the LCR ... but I've been thinking of just going with the Ruger.

I live in Vegas so I wanted something I could carry even on the hottest days - IWB holsters are pushing it in 110 degree weather. Sure it's only a 380 but I'll take it over nothing; and actually it seems to be a great little gun so far; I've put about 150 rounds through it. So it's my Springfield in the cooler months and LCP the rest of the time.

Are you talking about the HK USP Compact .45 that I referenced above, or the HK45? The HK45 is a larger-frame version of the HK P30 -- both of which are the next generation of USP. The P30 is a law enforcement pistol in 9mm or .40SW ... the HK45 is a miltary pistol in .45 only.

I've fired the USPc 45. Great gun. When I tested 9mm's for a primary carry weapon, the USPc 9mm was my second choice (behind the HK P30) ... so I decided to get it as my primary .45. I haven't fired the HK45, though I have handled one. The ergonomics are unmatched on both the HK P30 and HK45. The HK P30 is the best pistol I've ever shot.

If you haven't had the opportunity, I'd definitely recommend looking at/ trying out the HK45 or HK45c before opting for the USPc .45. I initially was going to buy the USP Compact in 9mm before trying out the HK P30 ... one trial, and I was sold. The HK45 has the same upgrades on the USP as the P30.

Yep, you are correct . I am also an HK man but since I don't carry, I am a full sized guy instead of a compact. The Walther's are what I would use if I had to carry. They aren't the tack driver's that the HKs are but they do shoot accurate enough for personal defense. All of my guns are incrediblely realiable, so I have never had any issues. I am not a fan of the new HK line though. The USPs just point so very naturally for me. They just seem like a step back for me but I know plenty of shooters that swear by them and say that they are a "huge" improvement in ergonomics. I shoot my two HK's as accurate as most people seem to shoot their 1911s at the range (but not one of those custom ones, ie les baer or wilson combat ). Nice firearm though and I am glad that there are other HK fans out there!!

I'm pretty much an HK devotee at this point. After the USPc .45, I'll probably take a break from HK purchases to get a Ruger or Walther carry gun, a 1911 variant, an outfitted AR, a shotgun, a crossbow and a sniper rifle ... but I want to get a full-size HK45 and a Mk23 eventually.

HK is an interesting brand. I did test shooting for the 9mm, and it was the winner by a long shot (over the Walther P99, Beretta PX4 Storm, Sig P229, and Glock 19). Its a bit distinctive -- most people seem to carry Glocks or Sigs (partially because HK, while very high quality, is bloody expensive). And, even in the HK world, most people carry USPs (because they've been around so much longer), so the P30 is still set apart. I'm the only person I know that carries an HK, much less an HK P30. Its kinda nice to have a trademark sidearm among my circle of acquaintances.
