Giraffe Neck

My apologies if this is a stupid question as this is my first "kitbash", but, how do you shorten/lower a head onto a neck?

I have a HS that fits snug on a neck peg, but it just sits way too high (giraffe neck)...

Should I find a shorter neck peg? Is that the only way to go about it?

Looks like you need to push the neck peg into the head more, but I really can't tell from the picture provided.

Unfortunately, I tried, and it doesn't push in further..

Take some photos of the neck, neck peg and the underside of the head. Might help to see exactly what you're working with.

You need to post more pics man. It's probably a long neck peg, but it would help to see the hs off the body with a pic of the neck and peg.

Remove the neck peg and see how the head sits without it. If it still has a giraffe neck look, it's not the peg. If it looks fine, then you need a shorter peg.
