Bumping good old John

Yeah I kinda want to build a Gabriel. So i'm looking into that.

In the meantime i'm workin on a John Rambo.

Since I saw the movie and the custom Feng did years ago I wanted one.
Not too long ago I saw one on ebay and it give me the idea to use the Barney Ross head.

So I used the HT head, shaved the beard and hair. Inserted real hair and repainted the eyes.

I applied a mix of hair spray and glue to the hair to give them a wet look.

Here's one pics so far. Only finished the head. Need to weather the body and clothing.

My friend Miasto made an awesome knife and holster so it will be pictured later but I wanted to thank him.

Great job on modding that Barney Ross into John Rambo man! That Joel is almost alive, everything is in proportion and looks amazingly realistic.

No i didn't, just removed it. Good thing is that you can remove the lower part. Makes it looks more accurate.

Cool, so it looks fine open then? I won't be putting an LED in mine so will it not look strange? I definitely intend to shorten it like yours

and finally some proper pics of my Joel. I still want to change the backpack somedays but it will be a pain since it holds the battery and switch to real working led in the torch.

A big thanks to Maisto for the great accessories and I hope he will offer more. Now to work on Ellie.
