I'm having fun with this also. Love the Psycho costume I got from the High Stakes Edition. Looks like a Jason/Leatherface hybrid.

Favorite combo weapon so far, Gems+Flashlight=Light Sword.

So, I've realized I'm pretty dumb about this game.

I didn't realize one of the main aspects of the game was to play bit, then restart the game. I didn't know you keep your level when you restart. I heard people talking about grinding for experience, but I was like "How?? You have a limited amount of time" I guess I should read the instructions next time.:lol

Not this time...I'm still proud of getting the 7 day survivor though, but I think that was the death sentence to many an Xbox...:slap

:lol I had to do that thing twice. My xbox froze at about 6 hours and 30 minutes...when it happened I didn't get mad...I just froze with it, stared at the screen for like 10 minutes and then just hung my head in sadness. second go was successful though. I'm kinda bummed they don't have that mode this time around, as it was fun to do.

Somehow my Xbox survived both go's :dunno

I've been playing this off and on since release, but I'm having a really hard time getting into it. It's just that it's exactly the same as Dead Rising, and I played that one so much that I think I just might be sick of the formula. It also doesn't help that anything but killing zombies is clunkier than hell. The driving, fighting psychopaths, etc. just doesn't work all that well.

When I'm just messing around, it's a blast, but once I start trying to play through and focus on the story and do things other than killing zombies it just falls apart.

^ Thats why I stopped playing the first one. Just got dull once you actually get into it. It's ____ing boring.

Killing zombies is fun though.

Yeah, it is fun. I finished the fight with the (early case spoilers)

Deranged CURE guy

And that was so ridiculously clunky I was getting furious with it. There's no melee combat system, so it was basically get hit, wait for his animation to stop, slash a few times, run around the corner to the BBQ joint, eat some food, stock up, run back, get hit, wait for his animation to stop, slash a few times, run back for food, lather, rinse, repeat.

It was just stupid.

That sucks. I was really hoping that this game would arrive in serviceable condition. I liked the first game, but the missions were a pain to complete in time, and the free roam aspect gets old really fast.

where do you usually find zombrex besides the pawn shop? im at about 2 or so hours into the game and am about to give Katey zombrex for the 2nd time but havent the slightest clue of where to look besides the pawn shop and besides i dont have $25,000.00 available. any tips?

There is one in the BBQ shack restaurant (or rather you start there).. you go up to the top floor and jump onto the overhanging light.. and keep following the lights hoping from one to the other.. eventually you are on a light over the casino.. there is one at the end of the lights.

I was wondering if the save system has improved? I heard they have three save slots now, so that you can experiment on side missions.

anybody got the code for the Gamestop ninja outfit I totally missed the pre-oder, is it worth it?
It's ridiculously game breaking. Zombies cannot grab you...at all...if you wear any one part of that costume. It's great if you're in a hurry, but otherwise it just makes the game stupid easy since you can't get touched.
