I think they're just referring to interviews with the producers, not the actual show. Meantime, Black Canary first appears in episode 4 this season.

Gotta say pretty good episode this week! Plenty of action, decent plot progression, Felicity was hot and "Spawn Tiger" was great! I kept expecting the councilman from Mutant X to phase through people. And at Ollie for not being able to take no for an answer. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

As good as Ollie is, I'm still not totally convinced BT goes down like that. Still, GA was smart enough to make it a range battle as he would totally get owned melee wise. I think MJW was great though. Seems like the character was tailor made for him.

And how ridiculous is it that they have SWAT teams ready for GA and nothing for medicine delivery truck hijacking? I mean, they literally had the whole police force go on the wild goose chase Felicity set up instead of going to escort the medicine truck!

Regardless, I'm enjoying the new season. Felicity's freak out about being a secretary was priceless!

Yep. Another very solid episode! I think the Canary "cry" fits the real world aesthetic that the show wants to portray. That last bit was a holy sh@t moment for sure! But I hope they take their time before the full reveal and don't have her in every episode. Just to build the mystery up a bit.
