I do not have the time to take on that complicated of a project... it is a shame though as he does brilliant work.. he just has absolutely no clue when it comes to being honest and reliable.. which is a shame as I would have purchased a couple of jackets from him were it a different situation... in the end the short answer is no... I do now have contact with a seamstress here in Nashville that does doll clothing.. I may bring in some samples of Indy gear and see what she thinks.. there seems to be a community of these ladies in Nashville that do that sort of thing.. if I can find one with a serious eye for detail and accuracy I may get back with you guys on it.. obviously I would be outsourcing and acting only as a middleman of sorts.. but I would not be looking to make anything off of it.. just getting the seamstress in contact with this community... we'll see..

1/4 scale whips would be a huge help for detailing the PF... just have to source materials I guess... add that to the never ending list of stuff I wanna do :) !

Eagerly anticipating the 1/4 scale whips because the 1:6 versions look absolutely amazing!

Mike, I got my whips. Once again your work is outstanding, Thanks again

My Raiders whip from Mike was a fantastic addition to my figure too, really very happy with it. Can't be bettered in my opinion.

Thanks guys.... I have just sent out my first articulated whip this week... but did not have time to photograph it... I have been able to construct whips now that look exactly like the ones I have been selling.. but you can pose these as they have a flexible, but rigid, material inserted into the body... that way you can pose your figure in some kind of dramatic fighting / action stance.. ( I am thinking streets of Cairo Indy :) ) These are available now for $35.00 each... and just like the others, all film variations are available... I hope to have another built up to photograph this coming weekend...

Can't wait to see pics!

I am lucky enough to have ordered and begged Mike to make me his first posable whip ... now I can pose it in any position that I like, like a still from the film.

Frankly, Fisher has outdone himself this time ... Incredible, screen accurate in appearance (whether being posed or not) KOTCS whip.

Thanks Mike!

Cool pics Faststreets.... ( plus you saved me from having to do a build up of another of these to post pics this weekend !) These are available now for anyone interested.. one of the cool things about them is that you can pose them in an action style as your pics illustrate.. or if you are just coiling it to hang from the whip keeper it will hold the coiled pose really well also.... my goal is to build up a really good Streets of Cairo Indy to display slinging his whip overhead.... just gotta finish up the outstanding orders I have right now and I can FINALLY work on one of my own figures ! anyone interested in these news whips just PM me for details..

Re: Custom Bullwhips.. UPDATE LAST PAGE..

OK... been tinkering with this a bit this evening... ( had to take a break from your crate Faststreets ! )..... anyhoo... this is a first "rough draft".. obviously I will do two major changes, 1) fix the color of the fall/cracker.. 2) add a wrist loop that is actually braided leather... I am pretty satisfied with it so far... color is closer to the raiders whip color than any other custom whips out there ( well... with the exception of the miniature J.Strain... obviously)

These will be available soon... cheap... with a guarantee that they will ship within 2 weeks of payment... period...

I do these projects for all of us... so looking at it now... what do you want to change, add, alter etc...... the floor is yours and I am eager for your advice...

these are 1/6 right? then what arm is that in the pic? doesn't look like any 1/6 fig i know off

yes they are 1/6th.. that is a sideshow hand on a DML body that I used two part putty to sculpt over the wrist joint..

I just want everyone here to know that mfisher is a stand up guy. I had ordered 2 of his amazing whips (rotla and tod) and the first time he shipped them, USPS managed to loose them. Well, he quickly made 2 more again and shipped them right away. And this was after he had a very difficult week of lots of work helping out because of the floods in his city/town. I have a lot of respect for Mike for being someone trustworthy and reliable who delivers as promised, not to mention that his craftmanship is top notch.
Thank you Mike! You :rock

Bump!

I have actually gotten a number of requests for those in the last two weeks.... main thing holding me back is time... I have a monster midterm in my Evidence class next week that I have been trying to prepare for.. plus I teach law at the Police Academy and have been doing some extra work for their curriculum.. I just have not taken the time to do much at the work bench.. ( plus I have three orders to go out this weekend !) I have every intention of building the 1/4 whips... just have to source materials that are just right.. found some decent pieces to use but it isn't what I want it to be yet.... in the meantime I am actually planning on selling off some of my custom pieces... I will probably let the Indy Base Camp diorama from my website go ( without the figure ) as well as the Jock diorama ( with the figure )... serious inquiries just PM me...
