Adobe format Help!!

Sorry that i have started this thread. i will delete it as soon as i can get the help that i need

I just got adobe cs4 and my video's are not the right format for premiere pro, can someone give me a link to a safe video converter that i can download for free?. Your help would be very much appreciated
