Having a wee mini break on the X-wing today. Lots of jobs to do but just wanted to put together a Luke X-wing chap. I made a esb one a while back but never a ANH as they are different.
So here we go go...
First up I wanted to get rid of all the buttons and stuff off the brilliant Hasbro suit.
I am gonna pop him on a TT slim as I want his frame to be slight.

So with the suit sewn up and some german boots we are on the way.
Next is to dremel a luke stormie head to oblivion!! I want to have two heads, one with a lid on and one with out. I will use one of the magic Tomy helms.

Bucket on! Then its the gloves. Now the gloves always upset me.. not because of unwelcome memories of customs and excise searches and family buckets of Vaseline no no, just because the always make the arms look to chuffin long.. so I am going to drill the glove out for a better fit. Not to fussed about the vest they need so much sewing so I am going to use a different one.
Also probably paint the head up later just want to do the dirty noisy stuff in day time.

ow I say thank you... I am thinking of reducing Lukes height to 28.3 cm as he was 1.7m tall I think.

Yeah I think the vest is. I bought ages ago. The Head is a cast of SideShows Stormie. Best sculpt to date I think.
Just measured Luke and he is 2mm to tall so am I gonna chop his legs up for the sake of 2 mm.... nah

well with me trusty surgical chainsaw we have reduce the height.....
now out with hammer and nails and join him up again..... best get a wiggly on before the boss comes home

Watching this thread is like watching an episode of Neighbours back in the day @ 535 on BBC1...They were like 6 months ahead of us in episodes so what we watched had already happened ages ago...This is the only explanation as to how inhumanly fast you are building all of this! Be honest and admit it! Either that or you work in a Tardis!
