me too It got me inspired to finish painting my commandos!!!! They look awesome I can't wait to get the advisor to finish them off

I am lol...I just was hesitant on painting the visor and other glowing effects. I had them all sitting there all painted but with their gear "powered down" but then I was like lets just go for it. And I'm very pleased with the results

I still have to do one minor thing and that is add the hand plates to them...and Fixers will have the blade exposed

I was doubtful of my being able to paint the visor and have it look good, which is why I was determined to make a light-up helmet. I'm very happy with the results, even though the figure still isn't really finished yet.

I like the light up helmet DP and I thought of doing it lol but just decided lets be done with them I think with a little cleaning up yours will look awesome just need to get rid of a few of those spots where the light is shining through.

As for the advisors I am having 10 made initially and will be offering them up to whoever may want one...would be a great accessory for those who have the commandos or maybe you want a holo clone for something else. They are costing me 13 each to have cast and I am going to assemble them and paint them when I get them. I was thinking of only asking 15 each shipped and they will be completed and everything. I'm not trying to make money on these or anything just wanna have one for myself and figured hey why not have more made so others can get them too . If you are interested let me know and maybe we can start a list. So far 2 are already spoken for (me and Dorgs) but if anyone else wants to jump on...DP maybe I know you're a commando nut like me

I might want one, I'll have to consider it now...

And yeah, the holes in the helmet are really bugging me, might have to Sculpey 'em, since paint's not really working.

UPDATE time baby! I got a pic from the caster today of what the color of the clones will be and everything and I am blown away!
The finished ones will be assembled and painted and everything this is just how they look fresh out of the mold

That way there is a black base to block out the light to the outside and then a silver over coat to reflect more of it to the open part of the visor. I did this on a similar project and it worked out pretty well. You could paint it by hand so you don't cover the visor. And do you got more pics of your commando?

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I tried painting the inside of it, but it's too thick for that to work. It's not a uniformly thin layer of resin, the face is almost a cm thick... I'll have to figure something else out, I think.

Other than that, there's not a lot of other good pictures... He's just a plain white commando, no weathering yet...

I'd take more pictures of him, but I'm kind of already doing that right now, if you take my meaning...
