1/6th Delta Squad Republic Commandos

Just about all of my detail work is done with a combination of washes, dry brushing and finishing with pastels. When I started building models I would use my airbrush for all the weathering but I've found that pastels are much easier to build your colors to get the desired look.

D this is awesome the paint apps are spoton and the dull tone looks sensational 10/10 mate.

Been wanting to do a shot like this ever since we started this project... I wanted to do like a locker room scene (NOT SHOWER)
Those Hot Toys bodies are so cool.

I still have a few sets of armour if folks are interested by the way.

nah its a Royce body... chuffin expensive but I have always wanted a muscle bound body ( oww havent we all sailor) and I eventually got one. I am gonna make a Wolverine someday!!

Just discovered ( or more specifically my 7 year old son discovered ) that the Republic Commando game plays on the X-Box 360 !
Aaaargh ! I could have been playing one of my favourite games ever , for the last 3 years and haven't been .
Also discovered I could have been playing Battlefront and Battlefront II as well !!
( Why didn't anyone tell me this .)

Got around to switching my Scorch from the Sideshow "trooper" body to a True Type . Hate to state the obvious , but it makes a hell of a difference . He can actually hold a pose and can even stand up un-aided now ! ( Unfortunately , I'm looking at a good 12 hours Dremmel time now to make some of the armour fit . What do you cast these buggers in Dorgmal , concrete ? )
One good thing though , the Sideshow body will be perfect for my up-coming Dredd !
Speaking of which , anyone seen this ? ( Sorry about the de-rail , normal service will be resumed as soon as possible ).

WO WO WO Put the dremmel down my friend!!! Which bits are you dremmeling young lady!! The only bits they may need work is the bum and abs... but before you go mad... thing like the thighs... pop em in some chuffin hot water ( i normally do this whilst taking my monthly bath) leave them for a good few mins and you will find the resin becomes soft! Then pop it on you TT figure and you will find that the armour stretches over and fits the thigh. Not like the SS armour which twists and shrinks and stuff.

Aaah , glad I checked in as I was about to start the procedure ! The abs and butt are ok , it's the thighs and forearms that are a bit tight. ( I AM on the right forum aren't I ?) Luckily I've just boiled the kettle for my second wake-up coffee .

the forearm may need some dremeling but if you fudge it up no worries I will send you another one. As for the thighs they should slip on a treat.. the bishop said the the nurse!!

A mix of good and bad news I'm afraid . The good news is that the arms went on no problem , as did the first thigh . The bad news is that due to my cack-handedness I managed to split the seams of the body suit forcing the armour on the second leg !
( Luckily, it was a simple job to stitch it back up and it still took less time than going at it with the Dremmel .)

I just checked the net for a custom 1/6 clone trooper armor and so I ended here ;-)
Are you selling any of this absolute great armor you made? I would like to get one for building my own custom 1/6 clone commando trooper. The helmet and armor you made looks really cool and I just wet my pants when I saw the pictures ;-)
I live in Switzerland so I don't know if this may be a problem if I want to order a whole armor set (including helmet). How much would it be?

(sorry that I post here, but I can't write PNs right now. I built some custom Figures myself and maybe I will post a picture later).

No worries marquito75, I am sure I have a set cast up already my friend and posting it to Switzerland is no worries at all. I can not take 100% for it though it was a fantastic group project.
