I really look forward to this, since I love DD and the Netflix show. I just hope they follow it up with the black suit from season one, or the first red suit, with the black facemask, Imo they sadly started with the least cool of the three suits. Its still a must have of course, but I still really hope for at least the black suit.

I agree with all this except for the bit about the new suit being the worst.....

Eh, to be honest I'm not too impressed with any of the suits. Typically, I'm on the side of the movies are a completely separate thing from the comics and certain visual elements from the comics just don't work on screen. But in this case the Daredevil suit is so dark and uninspiring that I think it could take a lesson from the comics.

I was really hoping he would just slap a red pleather singlet over a bright yellow long-legged unitard to fight crime but apparently that wasn't visually appealing enough to the fan base. :/

I was king of hoping the show would eventually get something close to the upcoming Sideshow figure.

Or hell, for all the faults of the 2002 film, they atleast had a pretty decent costume. I wouldn't mind something like that either.

And Ant-man sucks hard in articulation, that's true. However, i can live with it if DD turns out same good. Depends on material. With Ant-Man you can do badass running pose, but i wouldn't keep him that way long.

While articulation of Ant-Man does indeed suck, his head sculpt is one of the best around imo. I mean, I wanna be mad and disappointed that I can't pose him in all the crazy poses and he's mainly just standing there ... but then I look at that face and that smirk melts my heart right there and then. If HT can pull that off with Matt here, great. However, I have the feeling that they should try for a better articulation coz that mask isn't exactly flattering.

Thanks. Yeah, I mean its a good suit, but I like the other two better. The first proper DD suit with the black parts in the mask just has the better eyes imo. The season 2 suit that gets introduced after Frank destroys the faceplate just has those weird bug eyes I am not a huge fan off. I think they really changed the eyes on it. I could be wrong, maybe it just seems like that because the lenses and the mask are now fully red. I am currently rewatching DD season 2 and will take a closer look.

I hope it doesn't restrict his articulation too much, don't get me wrong DD isn't Spidey but I wouldn't want him in a particularly static pose.

It's actually normal. They have several prototypes they use for conventions and in most cases they don't update the figure, after all these are just to generate hype and interest.
