That's weird that they would have different under suits. You figure HT would just make them all the same so they could be used on all the troopers.

I was truthfully disappointed that there wasn't a night ops or specialist mission sequence where these guys go and wreck shop. Why do they have rubber undersuits? For extravehicular activity? Could you imagine a sequence where they leave an imperial ship to secretly board a rebel one while in orbit? Like a space-breach? Missed opportunity there.

1) Deathtroopers are Director Krennics personal Elite guard. They get wiped out in the Death Star attack on Scarrif.
2) We don't see a tropical island planet in the OT so no need for Shoretroopers
3) We don't see the tank commanders because no tanks, only AT-ST and AT-AT.

#3 were in the AT-ATs, there goes my every ship gets a specialized pilot theory. .

Another + for the Shoretroopers. Sick of rubber undersuits.

Main thing is the rubber on my first order troops is holding up well so it should be fine on the death troopers as well.

It heavily restricts posing though, that's my problem with it. My First Order Stormtrooper can even hold his rifle, can't even get him into an aiming pose. It's horrible.

Was such a great movie. However so much in the trailers was not in the movie. Including the short scene where these guys are in the house looking for Jynn as a child. They certainly looked menacing when one of them looked towards the camera as far as I can remember. Makes me think they'll do an extended version of this to try and double dip on the sales. As this is a one off film. Really hope they do. Would buy a slightly longer extended cut in a heartbeat. Considering how much the fans would love it I think there's a 70% chance of it happening.

Spudtrooper's DT's seem to have pretty good articulation in the arms at least.

Well it is kind of ribbed rather than flat like on the FO Stormtroopers so that may improve articulation a bit.

We'll at least get deleted scenes in the bonus section like TFA. I doubt they'll release an extended cut, it's a good movie as is, no one is complaining about it like one of the DC movies. While I did like some of the footage in the trailers, especially the first teaser, I must say that it did help keep most of the movie a secret which is a good thing.
