I think a young Lucas from the set of Episode 4 would be super cool! Especially this iconic look (complete with directors viewfinder as an accessory): It would give me a reason to finally use Luke's poncho, too.

If Hot Toys are going to do three Stan Lee variants seems reasonable to expect at least a George Lucas, no? The people have been crying out for a Notluwiski Papanoida! :wink1:

Re: 2-1B 1:6 scale resin kit. Taking Deposits! What about an led in the belly with some fiber optic run from the bulb to small holes drilled in the eye sockets? Same thing I’d do to light the cockpit of a little x-wing. It would give you a brighter and more consistent light effect for the eye...

The Sideshow ETA when I preordered for the next run was July (this month), but I got a flex pay notice today that my last payment has moved out to October. Seems in line with the Q4 estimate.

I don't know what it is about your photo, Lou but it makes this version look much more appealing than the promo photos. Maybe it's seeing the coat and accessories in a real environment or juxtaposing him with the Indian Jones stuff enhances the "swagger" of the deluxe look.

Just got notice from Popcultcha my preorder has been canceled and refunded. Thanks to Knightstalker for the alert (and TurdfergusonsHat for the Yondu/BBTS anecdote) I sourced him from ToysWonderland before the axed my order. Mine wasn't in with Pop until June, so not sure if some of those still...

I don't understand why they packaged Maul with a hologram of himself. The emperor would have made more sense as the bonus hologram.
