No no - sorry for causing any worry. I got mine from Urban Samurai here in Canada - was just wondering if any other people who bought online (through non-SS) had any issues with returns.

Any of those who bought theirs from BBTS or another retailer had any problems with exchanges or refunds? I just got mine today and it so bad it looks like polka dot in places.

Just got my replacement Phoenix today and I'm very impressed :) My original statue arrived with a broken base, but Sideshow sent me a replacement base (although judging from the strong glue smell from the box, I wouldn't be surprised if they just mended it :wink1:). Anyway, it's nice to have her...

LOL... they initially offered me $30 USD for the exact same issue. Thought they'd offer us Canadian's a better deal since the cost to ship/import is absurd. Great to see we even get less for credit too :slap Glad I sent it back :wink1:

I just got caught up on this thread and saw the posts about the crack. I packed mine up this morning and sent it back for an exchange after it arrived with the broken flame in the base. Wish I would have checked for the crack too, but I didn't even bother unpacking the body once I saw the base...

Well, I just got mine... opened it up... and yeah, the base is broken :( Just gutted...

Wow... where is this magical store with all of these statues!?! The comic book/collectible stores around my area might carry 1 or 2 SS statues, and a bunch of Bowen stock that needs a dusting ;) I just paid the exorbitant Canadian duties on mine, and she should be arriving sometime tomorrow...

The only auction I ever won where I got a 'steal' ($70 less than MRSP) was my Gentle Giant Padme :)

I have such an appreciation of what goes into creating the statues from photos like this. It also helps to have absolutely no artistic talent, so the thought of painting one of those makes me cringe :panic:

Just got this email, and well... it sucks for us Canadian collectors: Can't see how I'll be able to keep collecting with an additional 6.5% tax on top of the Canadian dollar and shipping costs (plus the increasing costs of the statues themselves). Any other Canadians feeling the pain? :(
