There are some very talented prop makers out there that have higher standards than the mass produced merchandise. What you are paying for with Noble is the "Official" tag. I can pass on that. Many of the whip makers will make cheaper display whips if you request it. Some go for as low as $100...

Well, it's possible that Uncle George "stole" the design of a studio light for R2's head in the first place. The lightsaber handles were camera flashtubes and Slave 1 was based on a streetlamp. And while searching for more shots of the lamp, I found one that shows Indy's boots a bit clearer...

Well, it's not R2's. There are only 5 holes instead of 6, and they appear to be a different size. Another droid head, perhaps.

The finish on your idol doesn't look very smooth. Is that true? Or just a remnant of the photograph? Mine is mostly smooth with random rough spots.

What if the pedestal actually works? You take the idol off it, replace it with the sandbag, then your room starts caving in on you. Now is it worth it? ;)

Nice! The joints have definitely firmed up over time. Which is a big relief. It will allow for more posing options.

Thanks for the welcome! The only other scale figure I have is Bespin Luke, and his hands are the wrong color. Also, I'm not even sure if they'd fit. I think I managed a pose that looks decent... for now. ;)

The knight that kills the historian rides the only horse in the movie. It's the only one they could afford. I would love a 1/6th scale Arabian. The truck chase is my favorite scene in Raiders, so I'd love to recreate that. But I don't think my shelves (or wallet) could handle it.
