Room is an issue. The weight of the thing too. None of the YouTube reviews or HCG tell us how heavy it is. Though they warn you to make sure you secure extremely well. It’s heavy. Definitely need to find the studs.

1/6 and 1/10 scale.

Had my EEV damaged Alien 3 Bishop prop 3D scanned and then 3D printed. Here is the 1/10 scale perfect for Neca figures. As well as 1/6 for Hot Toys.

Shipment from Zyote. Was sent one figure that failed in the printer. Something about the interior supports not working. The 1/10 scale figure has as great details as the 1/6.

No arguing there. You did a great job.

Transparent resin prints smoother. You can see the layers on the 1/10 scale in some places, and on the bicep of the 1/6 scale with the white resin.

Form 2 with grey resin 50microns in layer height. Apparently different color are limited as too how detailed they can print. Being sent one done in white at just 25 microns, softer detail. Another 1/10 scale as well.

Wrong movie, but I finally got my film prop Bishop 3D printed 1/6 scale. Perhaps someday Hot Toys will get around to creating this version of Bishop themselves. Probably as an accessory to Ripley 3.

Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Now on to painting.

Zyote from RPF printed up 1/6 scale resin version on his Form 2 printer. Looks good but shows the limitations of the 3D scan. Very soft in detail, at least in the photos provided. Yet to receive it.

Had it barely eight months and its disintegrating along the seams. Initially thought it was one large piece. But the ship is apparently glued onto the base. Large holes have appeared under the three main portals we all know so well from the film. Would be great if I could get the two pieces...

Giving Hollywood Collectibles a run for the money. This is great. Though I doubt Neca would create as detailed a version. I think your creation even rivals Halcyon's Aliens chestburster figure.

It depends on the printer type and plastic being used. The smaller scale Sulaco doesn’t have all the support residue left behind on the model. Resin printers produce beautiful results. It just all depends.
