1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars Episode VII: Luke Skywalker Collectible Figure

For me this figure is not about recreating the scene at the end if TFA (necessitating a Rey too) or if there will be a newer, different Luke for EVIII or that Luke didn't do anything in TFA. It is an emotional response from me as someone who sat in the theater as a 6 year old in 1977 and met...

Speculation: Hot Toys Star Wars Rogue One Action Figures

I'd love a raggedy little Stormtrooper doll! I am probably in the minority here but I am not digging the Deathtrooper. The design is so busy with all the angles and layers and accessories and the green lights in the mask look like they were put on there in an effort to be different rather than...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

I pulled mine apart to re-glue the top projector back in place. It was a tough at first but it pried right off. It was not glued. It took me a few attempts because I thought it was going to break but using a plastic spudger, working it around the edge little by little worked. When opened it was...

    New here, lovin' it!

Hey all, My name is Dave. I recently joined when I got my Sideshow R2-D2 and have been loving the interaction. I have been collecting just about my whole life and have been a Star Wars fan since I first saw the original in the theater in 1977 at age 8. I have mostly Kenner/Hasbro Star Wars stuff...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

I had the same issue with the top projector when I opened mine. Fell out of the hole in the dome and it was loose in the dome. I contacted SS customer service with pictures and they said that they would contact me back about a replacement but that was mid last week and so far nothing. I bit...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

I think of all the "complaints" or wishes I have for this figure, sound is the one. Sure, some doors fling loose, things are a little wobbly for some features but unless we want to pay $400 for an Artoo with a metal frame/skeleton inside with much more precise cuts and features, this is what you...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

THANK YOU!! I just did that with mine (pulled up on the scanner with some real force (no pun intended!), for the first time and BINGO! That thing holds right into position without any issue at all now. I think many of us were hesitant to really yank on that thing but that is the trick for sure...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

One of the doors (looking at Artoo, the left long panel) was having off when I first opened the box. I just popped it back on too.

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

That is awesome! I love that scene in Jedi. It is so creepy the way Bib rubs is long-figernailed hand on Artoo's dome. One of those little detailed moments that Star Wars is so great at. I may have to find one of the Bib Fortuna figures on the secondary market, or at Celebration in April.

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

I have he same issue with mine (top projector loose in the dome). I took the Bree screws out of the bottom of the dome but wasn't sure how to get the entire bottom-plate out to get up inside the dome. How did you do it? Was it glued? And to get the projector gasket stuck back in the dome did you...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

When I opened mine, the top/rear projector had also come loose and was in the dome. I can get ahold of it and pull it through the hole from the outside but I am unable to get it to stay stuck. It just falls back in. Did you glue yours? Does it hold in with tension? I really don't want to go...

    Sideshow 1/6 R2-D2

I just got mine. It is more fragile and "loose" than I expected. Still, it looks great. I think the 3PO preorder may be in order!
