    Accessory storage

I've been keeping all my unused HT accessories, heads and hands in their original boxes, but they're in the attic and I'd like to keep that stuff more accessible. What kinds of storage solutions have you guys used? I'm thinking some kind of large toolbox, with baggies and bubble wrap to avoid...

    Hot Toys shipper boxes

I'm looking at a "new" HT figure on eBay and seller claims that it's part of the initial Hong Kong batch, so it never had a brown shipper box. Is this true? It makes sense, since the shipper boxes look like Sideshow items and I assume they add them for the international market.

Generic clear stands for sixth scale figures

I've seen a few clear stands in people's displays, I was wondering where they get them? I think the some of the more elaborate ones (and the black HT ones) kinda take away from my figures in Detolf shelves, due to the limited space.

Creating Darth Sidious from "The Lawless"

I love how Palpatine looks in this episode of "The Clone Wars" and I'm thinking of cobbling together a sixth scale version of him using the pair of figures from Sideshow's 2008 double-pack. Are his robes red or is it just the light from his sabers? I was thinking I could just put the...

    Displaying Hasbro figures

I know there isn't much of an emphasis on Hasbro lines here, but I have a box full of their SW figures (and some vehicles) that I've amassed through the years and I was looking for inspiration in terms of display. I've been thinking of selling any duplicate characters in the same costumes and...

    The under-appreciated Count Dooku

I know the majority of us are more interested in Hot Toys' OT figures, but I'd love to see them pay tribute to the late Christopher Lee by announcing Count Dooku as their next 1/6 offering. It always bugged me that Sideshow never got around to him, I wanted to complete my collection of Sith...

Using hot water to loosen joints

I've come across a few figures in my collection that could use the hot water treatment, but I've never done it before. What temperature is ideal and is there a method any of you guys use?

    Figure buying in NYC

Are there any less obvious places that sell Hot Toys and Play Arts in New York? We all know Midtown Comics and a Forbidden Planet, what are the other options?
