Arrived not long ago. Just taken him out of the box and put the glasses but wow the portrait is incredible. I don't see how any licensed company could have done better. The hair sculpt is quite a lot better than Keaton's but probably easier with it being that much thinner. Really love the gradient, not just a flat grey.

Need to take a look at all he comes with and try finding a decent pose.

Wanted to get a shot of him in the natural light but as usual it's raining and dark already.

Why does he come with a second set of trousers?

BTW mine arrived with three salt and pepper shakers so if anyone on here gets theirs with one missing I'm happy to send this spare at no cost.

Are you saying that somewhere out there there is a trouserless Michael Gough walking around looking for a missing salt shaker?

As nice an image as that is I believe they all come with a spare set of trousers. Was just wondering Why. Like is one for the 89 look and one for the Schumacher movies?

Alfred thoroughly unimpressed with Joker's offer of a handshake. :lol

Pleased to report the ankles are again strong enough to not need a stand. Wish this was the case for the Romero Joker but at least Riddler and future 66 figures should be good.

Yeah not wrong. This is what I’ve called the « groggy face » but it’s less noticeable than on the proto IMO.

The striped trousers are for the « classic house keeper » scenes, the plain black are for the 89 Wayne’s party scene I guess.

Same. And, if you need another sculpt, Rocco has also sculpted this Alfred and that may be more to certain ppl's liking. However, you'll also need to get it painted

It might be ever slightly too thin but it's still unmistakably Gough. Probably the only version of this Alfred we'll ever get so I wouldn't pass if that's the only thing putting you off.

Of the recent Mars 89 figures, this would be the one that has been produced in the lowest numbers and currently in the least demand.

However I feel like will be the most sort after in years to come when people want to collect the "full 1989 set". Unlike Bruce and the Joker there will be no variants to release later on either.

Most likely. I find that figures like these, as much as people say they want them, the actual number of people who really want them is small. Even if they hang around awhile they are eventually all purchased by collectors who rarely sell.
