Each successive character in a line will sell less than the last, there's always a fall off. Some people who bought the first couple move on or don't see the need to buy a full cast of characters, while people who missed the first couple won't want the new ones (who loves Barret so much they'd be happy with just Barret and not Cloud, Sephiroth or Tifa?). This is going to be half the reason GT is focusing on making the main characters from other games (Noctis for sure, but also teases for Yuna, Lightning, 2B, etc). You can sell them to new buyers who haven't bought a GT figure before.

This is why these third party companies never go very deep into any line. It's just not as profitable as making one or two characters and moving on to a new thing. OneToys is making an Arcane Jinx and a God of War Ragnarok Kratos and it's very likely they do not make a Vi or an Atreus to go with them. We're fortunate that FFVII is big enough they're even willing to make more than just Cloud.

Cloud is, comparatively, too short for a lot of anime characters. He’s also fairly petitely built for more muscular ones, as well as quite muscular for the more petite ones. It would still require reworking, the same as they could retool Barret’s body to be slightly less bulky to suit quite a few more characters.

They also don’t just manufacture the bodies by the loads to reuse for figures, so really the only sink is in development and not production, which would only come into play when they do have someone to produce, and as we’ve seen GT frequently has a bunch of different things in production all the time.

Plus- how much mileage are they going to get by figuring out how to articulate Vincent’s shoes and gauntlet? Is Barret really any more unique pound for pound than any other character is? I don’t think so, especially when he has so few unique pieces.

Combat boots, dog tags, sunglasses?? Even the arm gun can be rendered in relatively low detail compared to finishes like Vincent’s cloak tatters and the Cerberus gun.
 
So I finally snag AC Cloud from a private seller (spent $400) and got delivered to me however I got some slight black dirt or blemish on his face. Is there a way to get rid of it? I’ll send pics soon. Are all the silicone body and face painted? Should I use hot water and soap? Paint thinner?

Send pics. Don't use paint thinner, his face is painted/airbrushed. One of mine also has this but it's not bad enough for me to care
 
Ok tried making an attempt using warm water and dish soap. No luck. I’m very meticulous so I’ll just sell it for cheap and try to get a copy. Or if someone can sell an extra head. I’ll be posting this on the sales thread. $300 I’ll sell it. I’ll take lose of $100

Edit: I can’t post sales yet cuz I am new member. I’ll see if I can post to find an extra head

I'm not sure about your financial situation but at that point it might be better for you to grab the deluxe with the bike on the cheap, since it comes with two sculpts, and then you could try and sell one of the headsculpts from that with this body as a single figure and get most of your money back. I know a store that still has one deluxe for sale $489 with $54 shipping. Lmk if you want and I can DM you the store, don't want to post it in case you want to buy and someone else sees this and snaps it up.
 
The Rebirth Demo was… interesting. Just a more playable version of the flashback.

Some cool choices, some really odd ones.

My bike finally arrived from GunDamit after a long delay, 2 months after I received the figure.

I’m quite a meticulous collector and like everything to arrive in perfect condition including the original brown shipper box.

Unfortunately for me, my 1st order from them arrived in poor condition with lots of QC issues.

I hoped this 2nd batch would be better. It wasnt, they did not double box like how OSK does even when I fed back to them to double box it and they said they took the feedback on board yet they still just wrapped it in a bag.

They also cut the original brown shipper up so it wrapped around the bike box. Also the bike arrived damaged beyond repair so much broken parts, it’s like they just threw it around.

I’ve emailed asking for the bike to be fully refunded as they have it listed at $359.99 on their website at the moment.

FML.

I now know GunDamit do not double box items when the box is large, they will just wrap it in a bag.

What they advertise on their website as shown below regarding packaging securely etc only applies to smaller items and typical 1/6 figures.

I will be shopping at OSK now even if his prices are slightly more, you’re paying for his service which is stellar from what I hear.
