Queen Studios: Alien Life Size Bust

Bruce bust is not accurate. Again, this is the most accurate to date. Minus the carved lines and the separate neck piece. All of which QS did after the fact. They also acted all concerned about the paint job and accuracy and ended up not doing a thing about it.

Has anyone received this bust yet?

Bruce is an amazing artist, he will produce for you a terrifying monster BUT it's just not accurate.
I've never liked his Domes, some I've seen look pointed but it will still scare the mother-in-law!

The Queen Big Chap was produced by artist Stephane Faure (beesub) who went to great lengths to copy Giger's original as accurately as possible.
This may well be the best lifesize reproduction of Giger's monster for years and with a low edition size of just 199.

In all honesty i hate Busts but just can't turn this one down, it's Giger's original so would also appeal as an art piece to his fans.

I don't think anyone is arguing that Beesub didn't go to great lengths to create the best sculpt he could. It's the fact that QS went to great lengths to screw up his hard work that is the problem.

I ordered through Spec Fiction also but heard nothing since that email

Looks like Flankster got special shipping from Spec and got his early. Video is on youtube. Looks like the rest with some QC issues. Nothing major.

Does anyone know when this will be shipping from Spec Fiction, they have given me a different date every time.

End of August at the earliest end of Q3 at the latest from my email back and forth with them. I've had mine paid since April and I want my bust or my $4500 back.

Yep, a lot of money just to have sitting around. Could have been earning interest somewhere.

Correct, THEY have been earning the interest.

Sugo just delivered one to a city about 200 miles away from me...

Got a message from John over at Queen Studios. He said they have shipped their stocks of the bust and to check with my local retailer.

Had a message from Queen's on FB, said they were shipping the busts in batches.
Hopefully your message from John means all is now finished and total number have been completed and sent to the dealers.

Hope so. I pinged Spec and so far radio silence.

Guess no one has heard anything?

2024 and still no word. I heard Feb. but I don't know how reliable that is.
