Riley did say he wasn't sure which were InArt and which were Queen or both. He did say he was told T2 was one of the new licenses and if I'm not mistaken global.

John said they were announcing two new global licences at the show before they didn't.

Apparantly there is another event in Thailand soon where InArt will show their figures.

Any figures not up to scratch for this event will be improved and shown there.

No idea what that event is or when it takes place.

You'll forgive me if I don't believe a word InArt says now.

Thailand Comic Con from October 28-30. I believe it’s taking place at Siam Paragon.

Most likely those new licenses were also broken during shipping. Let's hope Aragorn stays safe until the Thailand Comic Con

We were supposed to see Paul by May. I’m beginning to think he’ll never materialise now.

“in” is often a prefix used to indicate the opposite of something (e.g., in-accurate, in-comprehensible)… what if we’ve all been played and InArt knows that their work is the opposite of art?

Freaks - I love you all, but honestly this community does seem to have a habit for catastrophizing every minor stumble and talking itself into a depressive death spiral the moment things go even slightly less than perfect.
The event didn't show off anything new - its a pity, but it just means being a little patient.
The final product reveals were the main event and the Joker looks fantastic, the Pennywise looks incredible and the Gandalf and Batman look really good. Only the Bruce was a marked downgrade.
Inart's communication needs clarity - but lets not once again sour relations with a company that even bothers to communicate with us, as opposed to the likes of HT, by excessively piling on the negativity whenever there is a hiccup.
We will see the Aragorn soon enough and if they get the global licenses they will announce them - things have obviously worked against them at the last minute.

Unless of course I am missing something in the big picture in which case please let me know.

Yeah it's kind of insane seeing some of the responses to their first event that didn't go as planned. Some people are making it out to be as if they're doomed and a complete failure of a company. Saw someone say that they should be compensated with something for them not showing Aragorn like they said. They're a new team trying to be innovating in a stagnant 1/6 space through a small team. Mistakes will be made along the way. Is it disappointing that it didn't go the way they planned? Sure but it isn't anything more serious beyond that.

Just have to hope that they learn from these missteps going forward and continue to improve as a company. Some of the responses I'm seeing will 100% cause Inart to communicate less and less. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.

This is exactly why Hot Toys doesn't say **** or communicate at all with the community. Way too toxic sometimes.

I think they said as an apology they should show it online. Maybe it's a good thing that we have time to moan about these things, shows that things aren't really all that bad

I'm pretty much out of collecting, and I come in here to have fun and see what's new, and frankly, I am often blown away by all the amazing new stuff being shown.
InArt's prototypes are amazing, and I sincerely hope their products are just as great. KP's Dracula looks like an absolute beauty, and their Nosferatu looks even better. I see DiD, Facepool, PopToys and way too many other less known companies to name them all, releasing absolutely fantastic figures that blow away anything that was offered as high end only a coupe of years ago. I mean, the new Godfather figures are a prime example of something we never would've thought we'd see. And how about Exo-6's Star Trek line? Even the Sideshow Eastwood line is brilliant, considering how niche some of those figures actually are.
I know things can always be improved, but I also know that they have been improving, and the depth and breadth of offerings we are seeing is beyond anything we might have imagined only a few years ago.

If I were still collecting, I'd be happily bankrupt right now!

No you're spot on. As it is in life, people typically prefer to complain about stuff, as opposed to what's great and amazing.

It's amazing how quickly people forget that InArt brings much needed competition into the highend 1/6 world.

Not only do we get better rooted haired figures with new innovations such as painted seamless forarms + hands as well as magnetic connections, no crotch grabbers etc etc, but that competition alone forces Hot Toys to also lift their game.

The complainers like Danoby who **** on InArt don't have to buy their figures, but they can take a step back and see the positives which competition gives to their beloved Hot Toys figures and the industry as a whole.
