Why do I think the same people complaining about $350 for this will happily be paying $200 for Mephisto on eBay in a year?

Damn, that looks sweet. But I'm not paying $350 for a Mephisto figure. The only part of this set that would've been a must buy for me. Bad move by Hasbro. Probably gonna anger quite a few fans.

Hopefully they release him on his own in some variant in the future. Or maybe Diamond should try to re-release their Marvel Select Mephisto. I'd be just as happy with him since I passed on him the first go around way back when.

It also bothers me they used a pretty darn recognizable dan ketch ghost rider skull for the teaser. It was heavily used in promotion of the title on shirts, in print and even in the upper left corner box on all kinds of issues. It's javier saltares artwork, and he served as the series launch artist.
Vintage ghost rider shirts from the early 90's command some of the highest prices of vintage marvel shirts ebay, usually around $250-$500 (for context spider-man - $150, Venom - $300, 80's x-men - $125, 90's x-men $250-$300). I think the popularity for that take on the ghost rider is out there. 90's nostalgia is in full swing.
They strip mined that character - took the spikes, the mystical chain, the penance stare and slapped it on blaze. That's always bothered me.
I know the ghost driver has his fans, but give me a tricked out dan ketch bike with plenty of heads and hands, some gitd throwback feature references to the toy biz line, a black out, a deathwatch and lilith for $250, and the toy biz style packaging to tie it all up and you've got yourself a funded haslab.

Very poor showing for such a big event. I much prefer the leaked list.

Ghost Rider HASLAB is sure going down hill. Ups and downs but now at only 5,133 backers. Backlash on this has been severe.

Looks like it's not up yet, it seems we'll have to wait for some of the others from those promo pics to be put up as well.

Just got an email from Pulse that my HasLab Galactus shipped....



But...... I have no idea what to do with him. ....

I got my email a couple of days ago, but per the tracking, it's still only showing it as "label created". So, I don't think it's actually shipped or moved yet.

Mine shows a tracking number with estimated delivery for tomorrow. But shows no movement. FedEx sucks in that regard. I wont hold my breath on receiving it tomorrow. But some people have said it just showed up without even getting a tracking number ...

Yup ... I've read the same. So, I guess we wait to see what happens while being surprised by nothing.

Woke up to an update from FedEx. My Galactus has traveled to PA and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow...

I hate FedEx...

Aaaaaaaaaand, my Galactus was just delivered.

Man, FedEx is always a mess.

Now, what to do with him. The box is huge.

My Galactus arrived this morning.
And yeah ... that's a large box. Even if you're prepared for its size, it still seems even bigger in person.

I got Galactus in the house yesterday. Of course he is enormous, as he should be, but he is remarkably sturdy. I have not tired the light up feature yet. Every time I look at that guy, I just laugh. He is huge!
