^ The very movie I most remember him for. Val & Earl made a great double-act, perfectly cast.
Always liked him - I only watched The Player the other day. He was much older than he looked. Other than Right Stuff it was projects like Tremors and The Player that put him on the map (and Cast A Deadly Spell right as HBO's star was starting to rise) but he was already around 50 by then.

My favorite of his is Miami Blues, he’s so good in it. Closely followed by Tremors and The Right Stuff.

An elderly woman where I work recommended this film. I've never seen it for some reason. Not what I was expecting from that lady.

Not a great film, and has some very questionable choices, but a lot of fun. Plus: Kate Mulgrew. Nuff said.
Dang, yeah she was very cute and good actress, looks like her life went off the rails a bit.
