These look great, especially if Asmus has no plans to ever make Gondorian soldiers. I really wish the hands were black though so they looked like gloved hands. The bare skin just doesn't fit the armored look. I'm sure it's an easy enough fix to buy some hands elsewhere, but it seems like a very...
Ditto. I was really hoping for the armor he had with the Mormont bear sigil on the belt, big dragon pauldrons, and hint of blue scarf. I'll take ANY Jorah over NO Jorah, but for me, the other armor seemed much more iconic and distinctive to his character.
Awesome to hear they are continuing with the series. Hopefully, the new Dany doesn't sink sales though as I can see many people passing in favor of waiting for a season 7-8 version. Personally, I don't think the announced one looks bad. I'd just rather wait for the fur coat costume and don't...
All you early orderers came out on top! I want the Galadriel exclusive with the altar, and $210 was a great price. But I guess I waited too long. Now that they threw in the cloak, they've raised the price to $235. As someone who doesn't care about the cloak, it's now a bitter pill to swallow...
With this figure done, I wonder if Threezero would ever do a standard Lannister soldier. Looks like it's mostly there, most notably needing a pauldron swap and additions of helmet, shield, spear, etc. Ideally the head would be Jaqen H'ghar so we could have him as he appeared in season 2...
So great to see a new figure announced! And glad to see a fully sculpted head with Tormund. I still wish they had done The Hound that way to capture the stringy, greasy, clumpy look instead of the lustrous, shiny, rooted hair he has now that totally does not fit the character. I'm surprised...
As one of the apparently few miniature fans, I'd love to see the following:
1) Helms: Weta/Sideshow covered most of the key helms already, but there is one glaring omission: Helm's Deep Uruk. They could potentially take this one base helm and make 4 variants (like the Gondorian set): swordsman...
I agree completely with theguru1. Not sure what all the hate is about. The Weta swords are clearly for the very high-end collectors. Seems to me if anyone wants one for a more reasonable price, both United Cutlery and Noble Collection made a number of different replicas that won't break the...
