And best news of all - My Gimli has arrived in South Florida, based on the tracker. Hopefully arrives in Minas Miami tomorrow!

Wow--that was a really great review! Mine arrived today and though I'm no master pic taker, here are shots of (IMO) Asmus' best figure to date! Truly happy with how this release turned out and to have a complete Fellowship in this scale..wow.. just blown away!

Lovely review!

And yeah, I also noticed that the stand was a bit too tall for Gimli. I didn't really mean to use it anyway but it would have been nice for some poses, I guess.

Btw, I'm loving all the poses everyone has their Gimli in. :) There are so many options with all the axes he's got that there surely will be no boredom with this guy in the future. :)

The dwarf has arrived in Minas Miami!! :blissy

Looks fantastic, as everyone has already mentioned, but I can't display him yet, as I need to purchase yet another Detolf...

Nice, but without official confirmation via photographic evidence we can not confirm that such a delivery was made.

That's a great idea, I might have to use it one day. :) For the pose my Gimli is currently in, he stands just fine on his own and when he's in the detolf, I can use Legolas' log to stabilise him but I doubt this will always work. :lol

Really nice job! To me, the chain mail is the only let down on this figure but it seems relatively easy to fix. How hard is it to strip Gimli down? Did you have to break anything/any glue?
