What pieces are you referring to? Do you mean other genres? (Marvel, Star Wars, etc.?)

If so, it's not a problem, as the Batman Armory is a fantastic display set all by itself. It is a complete "Dark Knight" collection in it's own right and is quite impressive on a Detolf shelf. I have it in the same Detolf as my Indiana Jones and Boba Fett figures (on different shelves, of course) and it looks great. I see it more like a collection of favorite films/characters, anyway.

As far as these figures go, here's my unprofessional opinion:

- Selina Kyle (Cat Woman) is a good deal at $200.00. She retailed for $195.00 and is long sold out. I expect her to continue to rise in value, as I don't believe that HT will ever revisit this figure/character.

- In regards to Bane, I suggest you continue to shop around. $350 is on the higher end of the pricing spectrum. You can eventually find him for at least $50 cheaper.

- Batman X12 + Custom Bruce appears to be a good deal. I'm not sure of the quality of the custom Bruce but the price seems reasonable for both. The Armory Batman may have taken a bite out of the X12's secondary market value but it's still holding it's own, over-all. (I have the Armory set and Bats is freakin' amazing.)

- The Batpod sounds about right, as far as current pricing. I think $400 is way too high but that appears to be what people are asking for. Not sure if they are getting it, though.

That set pretty much gives you a complete "The Dark Knight Rises" collection. The question is: Do YOU think it's worth $1,250.00?...

That's a good point. I checked the retail prices of each of the pieces (not counting the custom Bruce) and it came out to $925.

Bane - $195
Seline- $195
Batpod- $275
DX12- $260

I was actually surprised that Bane had been under $200.

Yeah. The BB movie never was really covered. We never got Ras and Crane figures, and we had two versions of Batman, but both with a wrong cowl and questionable suit quality (all these dust and ankle problems with the Exclusive version). I think that proper DX type release with two bodies (one for FN version without the bat emblem another for the standard batman suit), proper form cowl, posable decent one layer cape, it would be fun to have a couple of 1/6 bats (like the crow that came with the Draven figure). Actually, adding anti-hallucinogen injector and infrared binoculars would be cool too.
I would love Rachel figure too (based on BB), but it seems to be very improbable.

I just purchased batpod from a local friend for 170 USD without the box and instructions. Everything else is complete and in good condition. Do you think it is possible to find / purchase box and instructions from somewhere?

As far as I know the choice is 3/5/10mm (referring to diameter of the led).

This isn't exact, but it looks like it's probably a 3mm LED. The plastic cover of the LED is about 5mm across and 1mm thick, which eliminates the 10mm and probably the 5mm as well.

You got a Tumbler too?!? I'm still floored by how big the Bat-Pod is. In the mean time, good luck with the office redo! I'm all too familiar with having a pile of boxed figures waiting for their homes to be set up.
