Got my Zod gift yesterday and now it's safely tucked under the tree.

I feel blessed to not only have the Freaks here but also my house, health, and family.

While some are proclaiming that Disney is on the verge of bankruptcy because of the abomination that is TLJ, I just checked and 4 showings at my local theater for Friday are already sold out, and I just got the last 5 Center section seats in our Big D theater.

Seems that some people do like it well enough.

The little **** is lucky I didn't pack him up in a box and ship him to someone. Between attacking the tree and "helping" me wrap presents by attacking/chewing the paper and trying to sit in all the boxes, he is trying my patience this year.

You can also see another one of my cats lurking under the tree where she's not supposed to be.

Thats why we don't have a tree this year. When I found one of our cats being an ornament we had to take it down.

My cat pretty much leaves our decoration alone, but she and I have an understanding:

She's a cat, and I'm an anatomy/physiology teacher who conducts cat dissections at the end of the school year.


My kids actually laugh at how much our cat goes out of her way to avoid me.

Thats why we don't have a tree this year. When I found one of our cats being an ornament we had to take it down.

We got rid of normal ornaments and started decorating the tree with elaborate paper snow flakes my wife makes (plus she puts the kids at school to work making them ). They still get in the tree sometimes, but at least they're only tearing up paper instead of breaking things. I love my cats, but they can be annoying little brats this time of year. I suppose one good thing I can say is that they've never knocked the tree down.
