Daddy at least made the effort to go and confront the rebels and kill them....sure he failed to get the key thing, but he was at least there.

Lazy Luke sat his fat ass on a rock, acted all brave and badass and died from high cholesterol as a result of 15 years of drinking high fat slug milk.

:lol :lol :lol

Luke was so scared of facing kylo he didnt even show up :lol :lol

He rather just skype himself :lol

Don't you try and bait me after I said I wasn't going to defend or debate about this movie. :nono ;)

Yes I loved it ALL and I stand by it. Okay maybe the broom kid was iffy but that's all you're getting from me, lol.

Disagree like almost everyone here does that the movie was a waste of time and horrible.

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi SPOILER DISCUSSION THREAD

I'm definitely looking forward to Abrams doing Ep9. If Rian was doing it I wouldn't even bother seeing it in the theater or might have skipped it altogether.

Ep.8 didn't fit in with the SW universe at all to me. It didn't even seem like a real continuation of TFA. I'm struggling to find anything I really liked at all about it.

Even the milking scene???????????

Come on bro...not the milking scene......NOT THE MILKING SCENE!!!

Yep, milking scene was fine. I had a very specific list of things that I hoped to see in this film and hoped to NOT see and as long as those things delivered (which TLJ did) I was totally fine with, hell even halfway looking forward to, things getting a little crazy (just look at my avatar dude.) ;)

Bunch of amateurs out of my way.

Khev did you think Luke had his RO Vader moment?

Remember now you’re under oath.

Ooh cutting right to the chase with the $64,000 question. :D

My answer: Yes and no. No because there was no "OOOOOO MMMMMMM GGGGGG!!!!!" level of holy crap to any of Luke's scenes like there was for Vader in RO.

BUT...

I didn't actually need that, in fact I feared that almost anything they did with Luke in that vein would reek of eye-rolling fan service. I loved the way that he was beat down and gradually rose back up throughout the film. His showdown with Kylo had just enough visual flare to appease my desire to see the "next level" of saber dueling for Luke while still giving us something new (the astral projection) along with several other over-lapping dynamics like his lines to Kylo and the fact that they had this massive audience in pretty much the entire FO army. Loved it, loved what came before and after, it was a perfectly awesome and dignified send-off for one of the greatest characters in all of film.

Peeps can disagree and get hung up on teet sucking and whatever and that's fine, I'm good, I got what I wanted, and since Carrie's quite obviously done I don't really care what they do from here on out. RO/SW/ESB/ROTJ/TFA/TLJ freaking ROCKS and I'll forever have a minimum of six awesome films that will permanently overwrite the horror of PT + OT:SE that I once thought I was doomed to accept, lol.

I feel all the star wars movies all had issues, but the movies were good enough that I can over look it, but this goes way beyond any other star wars film. The whole reason for star wars is the history of the jedi, how it takes years and years to become a master jedi, but Rey can just become one. Her parents are nothing they have no past family with the force. It made no sense. Plus the movie made it out that everyone can become a Jedi. Just stupid. Sorry Tracy I respect your opinion but this was bad. But I hated tfa too and this made that more worse by the back story of Rey. Now in tfa she was so powerful for us to find out in tlj that her parents are a no body. That ruins the character completely for me. No character plot for snoke in this he just dies. Leia can float in space no idea why, chewy and Phasma were a joke barely in the movie and Phasma was a horrible character who just gets her ass kicked. Rey with the mirrors was pointless scene. Ren can kill his dad but doesn't his mom, just stupid. Make up your ****ing mind, you say your dark but you keep going light, then dark. Just awful sorry!!! Entertaining yes, but as a die hard fan, I hated it. Where were the lightsaber battles they were awful too. Being trained by Luke one would think he can weld a light saber and be bad ass with it. But no they both swing it like a base ball bat, no finesse no skill and sad waste of time movie!

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi SPOILER DISCUSSION THREAD

To me Rogue One was the abomination of this franchise. NO SPACE CRAWL= fail. Bleak story line (as if we needed it to fill in the gaps--not)

Right there with you!

I still can't believe the fanboys are ignoring the fact that if Rey is really a nobody, then ALL the Bull SHEEEEET that she did in TFA is ridiculous, because everyone defending Rey said, wait until the next movie, they'll explain that she had training when she was a child....she's the chosen one, she's related to Luke or some other Jedi, but no, as of right now, she's a walking, talking, plot device for the OTHER plot device (Snoke) to go after, for unknown reasons, because he's dead.

No this was my main issue you pointed it out, that is why I hated TFA too because she has no training and can kick ass. Bull ****!!!! Her parents are no ones and now everyone can be a Jedi. WTF

I still vividly remember during every viewing of the PT the entire audience laughing at the PT, not laughing with it but laughing at it.

Those were truly dreadful and downright embarrassing to be sitting in a theater watching them.
.

I saw all the PT on opening nights and seen them all repeat viewing with sold out crowds.. Nobody ever laughed at the movie... I would say it was more like an uncomfortable silence :lol

The PT's weakest film, AOTC, is miles better than this atrocious and insulting piece of **** movie.

I wont go that far... It might be second worst.

Maybe you’re right the PT are just misunderstood masterpieces that the 8 of you on here that truly love them are the only ones fully able to grasp the genius behind them.

The rest of us have failed GL.

I hope one day to grow up to possess the sort of intelligence needed to love the PT.

God please can you do that for me the PT deserve no less from me. :lol

Can I let you in on a little secret?

I’m not a huge fan of these new movies either the OT are the only ones that truly matter to me BUT they’re still better than what GL himself came up with, I know that hurts to hear doesn’t it.

I am telling you jye watch the the "everything great about" reviews on youtube... It gives you a different perspective on the films and you may find some things to like about them.. Having said that.. They are still trash :lol

Why are people ok with/enjoy that Luke was beatdown and sad, it makes no sense for the character nor does Kylos fall to darkness. Yoda demonstrated he can appear at will and interact physically with the environment, where was he, Obi Wan, and Anakin to mentor and tutor to prevent that?
