Dang, I oughta decide if I want to cancel. This came in the wrong month. Needs to be post Feb!

Nice. I'll keep an eye out for video reviews; hopefully he'll be up for around retail when I'm ready to buy. Still very torn between the classic and PX figures, though. The colours fit better on the classic imo, but the PX comes with much nicer stuff.

Definitely gonna have to wait next month to pick this up, already spent probably too much this month on gifts and various other stuff.

As for the regular vs PX, for me it's easily the former. The PX color scheme is too monotone for my liking and, as cool and nice to have as those three extra guns are, Slade doesn't need all that much for me (I'd probably actually prefer a bo staff over the rifle he comes with).

He looks awesome in the package DQ8szgpUMAAgfP3.jpg

Got the Harley Quinn Mezco... Goddamn... I'm not happy.
The pictures had me worried. And the result in person...
I can't believe I'm saying this but the Figuarts headsculpts are 10000000000 times better. I really hate to say this because I hate that a 3D printer beats a real human sculptor... : ( Normally I'll take a Mezco sculpt anyday over a 3D Printed head. But Mezco dropped the ball on Harley. Big time. I mean I guess it's very very hard to sculpt the head of an actor in this scale, I'm no expert, but really... I hate the Mezco Harley sculpts. They look like a man, really. How can Margot Robbie look like a man? She's one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

Thank God I had the Figuarts. I examined all three Mezco heads, they are all terrible, I kept these horrors in the box and used one of my three Harley SHF on the Mezco figure. And it works so much better like this. I highly recommend the swap.

On the figure, the clothes and details are all amazing like real perfect but the proportions are off. Like really, really off. Her **** are too big (I wouldn't complain normally but it makes look the figure like a cosplay somehow), the tummy is very very weird, and the legs... I don't know what it is about the legs. They are at the same time too skinny and not skinny enough. I can't explain it but the overall proportions are way off.
It's not too bad but it's off. I'm bugged about this.

I wish I could put all the clothes on the Figuarts figure which has perfect proportions.

Well truth be told, the best figure remains the Hot Toys version, but I wish we could have exactly the same one in 1/12 format.

Overall, this Mezco One:12 Harley... I'll go as far as saying it's the weakest figure in my One:12 collection as of now. I will keep it for the sake of having a complete collection, but I'm disappointed. I hope they remake her someday, I know they can do much better than this considering their perfectionism normally.
I really don't know what happened. Weird thing is that it does look like the prototype they had shown us ages ago, but for some reason in hand, it's hard to look at it as it is if you don't swap the head with one of the Figuarts sculpts. Unless it's your only Harley figure in the collection I suppose.

But even with the swap, the Figuarts still catches my eyes because of the proportions. But that's just my opinion, don't want to ruin the fun for you guys if you love it more. Still, it's nice they did this character and that we finally have a 1/12 figure of SS Harley with clothes. I was just expecting so much more out of it.

So this is Harley from Mezco next to Harley from Figuarts... You be the judge.

Personally I tried every headsculpt from Mezco and it's just plain terrible. So here are pictures with the swap:

Much better imo.
For the next pic I tried my best for the posing, bear in mind the Mezco is very very hard to pose, it's very unsteady, and the arms and shoulders joints are nowhere near as permissive as the Figuarts.

And the final photo, which do you like best? : )

For me it's still the figuarts because of the better proportions and better to pose, but I dig the 1/12 cloth much more than plastic so... Let's say it's a tie, if you got the Figuarts to swap the heads.

Mezco has shown they can do fantastic head sculpts of actors in the 1:12 scale with their Star Trek line, so I doubt the scale was the problem. My first thoughts upon seeing the pictures for the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn a while back was that it looked like maybe through some weird licensing problem they got the license to the character but not to Margot Robbie's likeness given how plain and generic those Mezco head sculpts look. As for the body it looks like they should have developed a unique one for her but instead used a generic one meant to be hidden behind clothing.

Originally I was going to get her as a companion piece for my Joker but kept putting it off because she looked weird in the photos and now it looks like I made the right choice in avoiding her.

That looks turrible...just turrible!

The proportions in the legs are the worst. So strange.

When I saw the first prototype, I was definitely buying her. But after seeing the progression of the figure at SDCC ‘17, I decided to pass...glad I did.

I think pics alot of times make things worse- the Figuarts Harley is MUCH better in person than most pics I've seen of her. Mezco's is good for what it is- a clothed action figure- very different from an all-sculpted Bandai or Medicom figure. The outfit looks good to me.

The Harley Figuarts does look a lot better in person, but bear in mind some of those Harley Figuarts have defaults on their eyes, they are double-printed. That's the drawback of their technology on a big-scale production. So on some videos you've seen of her, you may have seen defaults you won't have on your figure.

That said, the Mezco with the head-swap looks better in person than in the pictures I posted. But with the Mezco head, I can assure you it's even worse in person that in the first picture. It's just so odd. Again just my opinion, I'm happy with the swap but thanks to Figuarts for saving this figure. If it didn't exist, I most certainly would have sold this mezco.

DAMN! I hadn't noticed but Mezco changed her necklace color. It's supposed to be gold in the movie, and now it's white with only the letters written in gold... The prototype had the gold color. Why did they do that?? Maybe I can use the Figuarts necklace to make up for this... Dammit Mezco...
Also comparing with the prototype, it looks like the head was smaller or maybe it was the shoulders that were wider. And the material they were using for her jacket was better.
Again, they went cheap. It's just disappointing coming from them :(

Yeah the jacket material is cheap and not what the proto pics shows- that is very wrong but alas what are you going to do? In person much better anyhow but I get your reservations on this figure
