Marvel's The Punisher - Netflix series

Just finished. Wow! It went above my expectations. Love the Punisher/Micro duo and the brutality was fantastic. Bernthal really shined and is the definitive Punisher right now. Didn't think I would be saying that considering Ray Stevenson certainly looked the part.

The political stuff is boring and bland as hell, I'll just fastfo it from now on.
The chemistry between Frank and Micro is perfectly written, and I really like their parts of the story.
Billy is very unusual, it's hard to see how he'd turn into this Frank's Joker but I hope he will because Ben Barnes can actually pull it off.

Alright first episode in I already hate the opening credits music and graphics just horrible.

How freaking hard is it to make cool opening credits.

1 episode in and I agree with Jye on the Music. Awful opening credit music.. That god for Skip opening option

The music much more so than the graphics the guns coming together to form the skull is cool but that god awful harmonica southern riff is just horrible lol

Should’ve been more of an exciting tempo building up to the skull like a mix of Terminator music and heavy metal.

Anyways this show seems pretty relevant what with that current real life story of the Green Beret murdered by those Navy Seals dudes in Mali, yikes.

3 episodes in and I really dig it. Loved the opening of the first episode with The Punisher in El Paso taking out his target. Great way to set the tone for him and what he does.

I’ve watched the first 8 and love it. Totally dig DD, thought JJ was okay, wasn’t into IF at all...was a drag. Cage was decent and Defenders was meh. So far, Punisher has been the best besides DD.

Is this what I can expect from a Punisher show? Please tell me these are isolated bits and won't happen anymore...

Nope this is pretty much the whole thing. They made Frank far too emotional in this. I just don’t see him as Punisher. I prefer a cool calm guido that’s focused on taking down the mob. Honestly this doesn’t even feel like a Punisher show. I know it’s heavily inspired by the Forge Valley story but none of this is appealing.

Instantly noticed that too, he's all mushy all of the sudden, it was way too hard for Karen to gain some sort of sympathy from him and here he stalks a support group?

Is this show worth it?
