Steve at Timewalker is great. I hope that all his openness is rewarded by more loyal customers and orders in the future. It's out of his hands, and yet he's placing the blame on himself and going above and beyond. Like already mentioned, I wish all retailers were like that.
Nice to see we don't have too many "I told you so" posts in here yet. May that continue.
Also, if Blitzway need extra time to perfect the product then so be it. I don't mind waiting longer. We've waited a long time for good GB figures anyway, a few more months won't hurt.

So... are bluefin the worldwide distributor? Like does this affect america only or the entire world? Can't remember the way it works.

I can't believe Steve from Timewalker is going to personally contact the buyers...what a guy! This was my first purchase from him and I see myself buying almost exclusively from him from now on.

Got that email from Steve as well. He feels pretty bad about this, but the blame falls squarely on BW.
Bottom Line for me: I'm paid in full and know these will be coming, just don't know when. But, I assumed these were on the container, as the info flowed, and BW took a week of neglecting to update everyone, so that is pretty disappointing for a Company who wants to elevate their profile in the 1/6 figure industry. Alot of money has been paid, expecting these to have an imminent arrival, and BW never updated their Us Dist (BlueFin) and pissed of a lot of collectors.

I got a call from Steve about this. Very nice man and very forthcoming. I will be buying more stuff from him in the future. The delay is irritating but blitzway is to blame. It's funny when people sometimes talk as if they are a threat to hot toys. But cancel over this? No chance in hell

Thanks I'm trying to be patient. Just frustrated TBH I love these figures and I am all paid up. I'm just impatient when it comes to an unforeseen release date. I simply don't like to be strung along. Companies like P1 had a few months delay but I'm finally getting processing for my 1/3 Frank Miller Batman statue after maybe a 2 month delay with seeing production pics 2 months ago. I just don't understand why can't they give us a good Realistic ETA it's ridiculous when you're in such a high end hobby. Sorry guys just been frustrated. I'm sure someone can relate. As far as the distributor, Timewalker toys has a customer for life. I appreciate the sincerity and he is a great businessman. But why hasn't Blitzway said anything yet and not responding to customer inquiries. Seems as bad if it worst than the Ripley situation. Sorry guys much love to you all, forgive my rant.

Pretty crazy that they can't even give us an estimate now. But oh well, it wouldn't be the first figure I've paid for long before I actually received it.

Well the problem is, if you keep supporting this way of doing things by these new 1/6 companys....they will be even more "relax" in the way they do this figure release thing, I am a big fan of Ghostbusters and was really looking forward to this, had the 3 pack....will cancel my last preorder, if these companys want my money...and the money of a lot of collectors...they better begin to clean their act in term of producing and releasing their products and even more, letting know their client base the reality of the status of production and delivery..and actualy have a product in stock...by the sound of things these are not even in full production!!!...so I think maybe by 2049...we could have the preorder of the Ecto-1...really can care less if these turn out "great" ....mmmm...if they are still working on them, while Blitzway let all to believe they where already made and in a ship container inbound to the USA/collectors hands....mmmm....sound like a Molecule8 101 bussines tactics....IF they turn out great...fine...all of those who finally get them will enjoy them until the next best thing come along and I will be happy for them, this is what the hobby is all about, sharring and fun....and I will find another great figure(s) that are already available, and will give me the satisfaction of the collecting world of 1/6.
My full admiration and congratulations on how Timewalker Toys is handling this,simply first class and real care to the customer, they have been a favorite of mine for quite sometime, now even more.

Just hearing from Blitzway would help enormously. I had the honor to meet K.A. Kim a sculptor, at SDCC 2016 she was awesome. Talking with some folks from the company (Barely spoke English) were friendly but not very helpful. Especially when I asked about the Ecto one last year when it was promised to be there. Seemed very unorganized TBH.

I was going to say the same thing about BW sounding a lot like molecule 8 right now. I wonder if retailers that charged a NRD would start offering full refunds including the NRD with all the delays, excuses, and lies coming from BW. I am not going to cancel my 4 pack pre order but I am sure some are considering it now.

Not suprised at all, i thought 12 months was more realistic. So i'm not upset, disappointed, etc. I was shocked when they said they would ship around the beginning of the year. I have never done anything like this but i've been working long enough to understand delays. I have HB on order so this delay is still nothing compared to that

Except I would not believe anything they say about release dates and would expect it to be a lie. I mean they already told their distributor that the figures were done late August and we're being loaded onto a cargo ship to later find out they are still not done in production yet. Pretty hard to load figures on a cargon ship when they have not even been finished yet.
