Remember that even though this is 1/5 scale it is still much larger then your average 1/4 scale pieces. So price is about right. Now if you want to say that all of ssc prices are too high then that is a different discussion.

I have to disagree. This is a new level of absurdness.
you can get the dio for $50 more. It defies logic. And it can't be explained away by rising costs especially considering what other companies are offering.
Have to agree. $55 more gets you a whole other 1/5 figure in Wolverine. There's no way I'd pick up this HULK when for $55 more I can get the HULK and Wolverine MAQ.

Yup. Call it hulk/marvel tax, rising costs, details etc. 50 more gets you TWO popular marvel characters which is bigger and obviously has more detail in it. This is just a business strategy and it worked. They got me. Ill buy but ill still complain lol

They didn't get me. I'm out now. This is absurd and the the seam on the back of the head really annoys me. If the price was lower I could look past it but have fun sitting on these sideshow.

Don't get me wrong I love SS but this is a slap in the face, completely planned it all out so that everyone would buy the other 3 and leave this until last. I believe 500 would be a fair price for this hulk, considering the size of it. I'm pretty sure this won't sit but they will definitely not sell out of the other 3 now that everyone sees the price on this. It really sucks because I really want this and will most likely still order but with a really sour taste in my mouth.

I think I'm going to drop out of this line. I like Iron Man but wasn't sold on Cap or Thor. Plus I don't have any 1/5 in my collection other than the hulk v wolvie.
I feel like we will get another wave of these characters soon in 1/6 scale as there seems to be new offerings in that scale from a few companies.
And I'm still waiting for an update from Prime 1 on their Cap...

Not to mix subjects but with this 1/5 scale Hulk price being what it is, what is going to be the price for the Gotham Nightmares Batman statue? That thing (also at 1/5 scale) will have the added Batman tax on it
I originally thought at least $500 but now I'm thinking at least $600, especially due to it being more of a complex piece. Ugh.
