Well, actually the f...ers who love cinema and haven't their brains melted waiting for the next batman/ironman!

Exactly! Paul Verhoeven is one of the best...the film is one of the more iconic 90's pieces lining up nicely with the likes of Fight Club and Carlito's Way...I do not collect statues at all but this one actually has me tempted...

I would love to have her in the collection! Something very different and unique. Never likely to be done again. It was a very iconic and powerful role. It's no different than a Patrick Bateman or psycho etc... I think it will be a great one if done right! Plus she is stunning / always was [emoji5]

I just never realized how iconic this movie was I guess.

They went with the best possible look/scene, they were at least wise not to hold back and start off with something less obvious. It definitely is an image that movie fans know. If this performs below their expectations then nothing else from this film will get made....probably nothing else should get made anyway

Sharon Polystone, if you will. *chortle chortle*

hopes he isn't the 3015th person to make that joke

I can't imagine anything else from this license really. What else could you do? a sculpt of Douglas with his pants around his ankles?

The interogation scene is "the scene" really.

I gotta admit, after waiting for so long for blitzway to reveal their next statue with anticipation, I'm incredibly disappointed with this announcement.

It's a really nice statue and the likeness is spot on, but I could think of plenty of other old school films that would've made better statues. I would have loved a Michael Corleone on chair from Godfather Part 2.

Stunned for two reasons.

1. Why THIS movie? Such a head scratcher.

2. I really thought they would do an Audrey Hepburn next. Disappointed that wasn't the case.

Of course this is all we will see from this license. Bought.
I am glad Blitzway is willing to take risks. I own Rocky and Marilyn, and they are clear highlights in my collection.

This is an absolutely beautiful rendition of sharon stone from what is probably her most iconic role (Total Recall aside). I am happy to see a company taking on characters that no one else is doing, and taking it to a level of artistry others could not. I for one couldn't give a rats backside about seeing another Godfather figure or statue.

Yeah. I guess my comment was sort of out of place tbh. For that I’m sorry.

This is one beautiful statue. Granted, for a very niche market, but yeah, beats the hell out of yet another Lettoker and Iron Meh.

I hope it sells well and they do other licenses too, it would be amazing to have a Leon The Professional statue made with this quality and love.

I, for one, love the fact that Blitzway is providing high quality movie-related pieces. Yes, there would be many other movie-related statues I would want before Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct, but I'll be happy to add this to my collection. I think it's good to have some variety in the hobby...not everyone is interested in the seemingly endless variety of Batman, Joker, Superman, Spiderman, Hulk (to name but a few) pieces that have flooded the market.

Blitzway gets that there are collectors out there who want something other than comic book characters or comic related movie characters. Which just about every other company has seem to have forgotten. Blitzway hasn't done anything yet I'm interested in buying, but I hope they continue forward with their obscure choices.
