Sounds interesting. Atleast the original will still be it's own movie and the remake won't be a direct copy.
That's what RubberCop defenders are saying. Even tho the good parts of that film were ruined by parts which tried to tie the whole thing to RoboCop. Either make your own thing or reboot the franchise by slightly updatin' the plot and characters while respectin' the original intent.

Or total recall.

I wonderhow many movies need to flop until they stop

Wyatt Russell, from Netflix's BLACK MIRROR revival, should play Snake. Dude can act and looks just like his pops, only taller.

That could be good, but Hollywood will be Hollywood and **** it up in all likelihood.

The fact that Manhattan isn't a prison already has this dead in the water for me.

Wyatt could work, since he's pretty much a clone of young Kurt. Just pack on some muscle, and he's good to go.

My top picks for director:

David Robert Mitchell (It Follows)
Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive)
Adam Wingard (The Guest)
Panos Cosmatos (Beyond The Black Rainbow)

*It MUST be shot on 35mm film.
