I haven't been able to take any great photos of him, but I have to say, he fits in quite well on the shelf of Bruce.

As others have said, it would be nice if there were some more extras to further justify the price. The Sideshow Batman, Superman, and Wolverine all had alternate heads. This could have had a possessed Ash head as well as the reel-to-reel tape recorder, the Kandarian dagger, an axe....

A possessed Ash head wouldn't make any sense since this is hero Ash....if they did Ash before the chainsaw, then yeah a possessed Ash makes sense (like
Neca's ultimate ash)

The chainsaw hand and everything could be changeable.

They should have included a not ripped shirt so you can recreate the "groovy" scene. Which is the most iconic of the whole film (evil dead 2).

I opened this guy yesterday, and he is as billed. Very nice for an SSC figure. Nothing mind blowing, but he gets the job done! The ab fang bothers less in person than in pics.

I don't consider ssc to be all that high end frankly. Even though this seems to be one of their best figures in awhile, it's still clearly sub Hot Toys, which is really the standard I judge others by at this point.

Go buy a Jaaks Pacific 20" Star Wars "figure" and then tell me SS isn't high end. SS has certainly had some misses but so has Hot Toys (DX Indy anyone?). Certainly criticize when you feel the need but also give credit where credit is due. This is a great figure and SS did an amazing job on him.

Oh hell NO, heres an outside close up for you. Gotta lower his left eye a tad.

Sorry for taking so long, I've finally got a day off from work and classes!

EDIT:

Finally bit the bullet and said **** it!

Added some hairs to give him that sweaty end of the film look! Even made a lil wooden base!

Awesome work. Just keeps getting better! Mine should be here tomorrow and I'm planning a wooden floorboard base too.
Can I ask what you used for the blood and grime on the shirt?

Just amazing work Schmitty! So so badass.

You keep taking something amazing and making it better. So, what else are you going to upgrade? :)

Beautiful! Great job

Go buy a Jaaks Pacific 20" Star Wars "figure". . .
*drives to store and buys Jaaks figure*

. . .then tell me SS isn't high end.
SSC isn't high end.

Seriously though, it's a nice, mid-range quality figure. In the same boat as ThreeZero. Pretty big step down from Hot Toys, Virtual Toys, or some of the various custom figures out there (that are the only legitimate "high end" options if you want to get technical).
