While this was said, I don't believe this is the case.

Exactly. They seem to say things without thinking it through. Even starting threads then failing to carry out what was stated.

They said the 1:1 Endo was being produced in the USA to guarantee a premium product but now production is being moved to China it will be even better than the ones made in America :lol

that was pretty funny. they need to hire a new marketing guy...better to tell the truth (cost could be the only motivating factor for the switch) and describe what will be implemented to ensure the quality is still there.

I haven't seen one piece produced from Chronicle that has fetched for anything higher than the retail price. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but quite a few of their statues/busts have sold for about $50-100 less after they have started shipping.

the edition size will be the best gauge on the aftermarket price.

not all of chronicle's items sell for lower than msrp. Try and find the 1/4 scale endo or one of the Stargate pieces without paying a premium.

One of you is right and the other is wrong, this forum is so confusing!!!

Which is kind of odd. They never give any updates on products either. When was the last time they said anything about the 1/4 endoskeleton? Or the 1/2 Terminator bust for that matter? But they have no problems sharing more behind the scenes/work in progress pictures of upcoming pre-orders. They seem to be taking on more than they can handle.

"-The 1/2 Terminator bust will ship in April.
-The 1/2 Terminator bust ships in May.

-We're having the 1:1 endoskeletons built here in the U.S. to ensure quality
-moving the production of the 1:1 endos to China

-The 1:4 endoskeleton will have a chrome plated finish
-Sorry guys the 1/4 endos will now have the same finish as our 1:1 bust

-We are doing a limited run of our Guardian T-800's and Arnold has agreed to sign plaques
-Sorry guys we couldn't come to terms due to Arnolds schedule

Yeesh, is all of that true?

I haven't been overly impressed with their pieces so far from the photos I've seen.

To be fair they do keep us updated with w.i.p pictures and info. Probably more than any other company.
Even if it involves a lot of changed decisions.

1:2 Bust is shipping next month.

Somebody will be getting my 1/4 Endo for RRP as I've requested to cancel it. The 1/2 bust is said to be shipping in May.

Looks damn good, but I'll probably opt for the PCS Conan instead. Hard to say. Anymore, this hobby is just so expensive and the pieces are so massive. I've got 2500 square feet and still don't have enough space!

Chronicle said no more than 500 and they would let us know if it will be less.

Any idea if the Marto logo will be removable, like held on with magnets or is it glued on?
