Got off the phone with my mate at EB this morning. Very disappointing. They're offering the steelbook edition at a lower price with extra DLC, but this is a **** move on WB's behalf. Any chance of a free/low cost season pass as way of apology? Come on, guys. Pull your heads in.
 
wow, this sucks for everyone that ordered the batmobile edition, maybe they will sell it down the line later on, but either way, that was probably the coolest EX they had for this game.
 
I have a very important question. No one on here has this early? I'm dying to get this early. If anyone knows of an independently owned place that sells games early for an extra price. I must know where! I don't get a lot of free time off of work. I'm in Southern California so any shop in the Inland Empire, San Diego, L.A. area I'm willing to drive to. I don't know if giving out that kind of information is ban worthy or what but. . . OR I know GameStop is way strict so I know just forget them. But maybe a Best Buy, or Target. Has anyone ever tried bribing someone to get one from the back? Like someone that doesn't care about getting fired?
 
Ha I'm actually completely serious. If I was an 18 year old kid working at K Mart I'd hook someone up with an early copy if they greased me like a $50
 
Dang, I'm glad I also ordered the statue edition set in edition to the batmobile one. I'd be really pissed otherwise as that one looks sold out now. Going to see if GameStop will compensate me at all, maybe with the red hood dlc for my Amazon collector edition now:lol

Very strange to cancel this at the very last moment though!

That's kind of how I feel. I'm actually kind of relieved now. I was annoyed that there were two CEs because I have the CEs of all the other Arkham games, so to get the "full set" I'd have to buy this twice (or three times since I had the AK-skinned PS4 Special Edition Bundle preordered too before I came to my senses). I missed the Batmobile Edition from Amazon when the pre-order first went up, but got the Batman Statue from them and then I was able to preorder a Batmobile CE from GameStop online. The problem is I wouldn't have been home to receive the GameStop package, while I could have Amazon ship to a locker. So now I'm set -- I've got THE only AK CE on pre-order, and I don't feel like I'm missing out that much on the Batmobile edition, because now, everyone is missing out on it. I'm sorry for those who only had the Batmobile CE on order though and now have no choice but the get the regular/digital/ or none at all.

Anyway, Amazon gave me a $20 credit (that they absolutely didn't have to) and to my surprise (bear with me here, as I truly had NO idea) they have a Digital PSN store!

So I grabbed the $100 code, bought the digital premium version (with the "Season Pass") for $89 (they are 10% off, for some reason) AND, PSN is giving out a $10 credit for purchases of $50 and more..

Not all THAT bad if you ask me, as my plan was to flip the CE anyway, and get it digitally. Now, just waiting pot the Pre-Load option!!
 
Well its very annoying that WB did this. I had the limited edition at GS but cancelled it the other day since we were so close to release I didn't think something like this would happen. Called GS trying to get my order back but they said they couldn't do anything for me and offered me nothing. Never liked GS only ordered to get the Red hood story pack through them. Looked around and the only place that has the limited edition available is good old Walmart so I ordered the limited edition there. If anyone else is looking for the limited edition I recommend going and ordering it at Walmart soon before they sell out.
 
Wow that sucks on the Batmobile edition, well I'm happy with the Matty collectors Batmobile.

I got my PS4 Arkham Knight PS4 limited edition console coming my way already shipped from target. I already own a PS4, I have to find an excuse to tell my wife why I needed another PS4 in the house.

I think they are in most places. But plenty of collector editions available in Australia
 
Oh my, this totally came out of nowhere. I'm sorry for all of you guys who had it po'ed.

I myself was crazy enough to get the Limited Edition (statue) in addition to the Premium Edition (digital) because my LE will arrive in July, and I can't wait that long so like the gullible fool that I am, I bought the game twice. If the LE becomes a hot commodity due to this debacle, I might end up not even opening it. :lol

It's totally confounding that this bad news is made public just FOUR days prior to release. :slap
